My bestfriend and I went in today to grab some acai bowls & juice shots and unfortunately, we were very displeased. Although the shots themselves were delicious and staff was very pleasant, the experience took a turn for the worse. While we waited for our bowls, we both realized we forgot to add bananas as a topping so asked if we could add and she told us it was an uncharge, which was not a problem. Well to my surprise when I went to pay the $2 extra for the bananas for both bowls , she told us that instead of just charging for bananas, she would have to completely refund each transaction just to add them. We each spent between $20-$22 for our orders so by the time we left we ended up spending $40+ each now having to wait for a refund over a $1 banana charge. To top it all off by the time we both got back to our cars, the bowl had already began melting & once we made it back to work (a less than 5 minute drive) the bowl was completely melted before we could even taste it. I was excited to give this place a try but unfortunately don’t think we will...
Read moreA real disappointment. I love acai bowls but this place was not it.
The cost is absurd for one VERY small bowl. Even at 25% off during their happy hour, it was about $11 per smoothie or bowl with no extras and the inclusions are minimal. I watched the girl making my bowl leave a ton of stuff in the blender and just wash the rest down the sink, despite my bowl being minimally filled. To add honey on top it would have been $2 - insane. They're cheaper for twice the size many other places.
The staff was polite, but they did ring me up wrong and didn't catch it until I mentioned it. They had to refund and then rerang me up. We ate outside and their two sidewalk tables are extremely wobbly, I think they are broken. Visually my acai bowl was pretty, but what little there was had minimal taste. My friend stated her smoothie also seemed bland, especially for the expense. Would not recommend or go...
Read moreTried this establishment for the first time on 6/8/24 in the morning. Hubby wanted to treat me to a breakfast so we stopped here since we were in the area. Upon entering the store, two individuals working. Not a single greeting was given when we walked inside. We were the only customers in the store during the entire transaction. I really liked the decor and cleanliness of the establishment. In the process of placing my order, still no greeting, just a "What can I start for you?" I ordered the Pure Pitaya Bowl. As we exited the store we did get a, "Have a nice day." Oh they do speak. Too bad it was after the fact when first impressions are most important. Although the Pitaya Bowl was made quickly and looked and tasted delicious I will not return here. I will definitely go somewhere else.
Note: This bowl will need to be eaten quickly since the pitaya base becomes watery after 5...
