Town Pizza II — Restaurant in Richmond

I will never order here again. They pulled pepper rings out of calamari with dirty hands! Where were your gloves? Served it to us without a thought.

Ordered at 815, place closed at 9. Was told my delivery would be delivered in a hr. I asked how long for pickup, was told 15 minutes. So I opted for pickup. I arrive my food is gone it went out for delivery. So number one the team has issues communicateing.

Second. They dont tell me this. They keep me waiting for my good, as I hear my food being talked about "spinach pie" "barbecue chicken pizza". After 10 minutes waiting and hearing my food mentioned numerous times I get up and ask about it. This is when I get told the delivery driver took it.

There was no responsiblity taken infact blame is placed on the delivery driver for taking it... I am now waiting for 12 minutes and am told the food is 5 minutes away.

A spinach pie is also being prepared during this time for me even tho I had not asked for anything, but this is a time reference. I was kept waiting long enough for a spinach pie to be prepped and cooked... meanwhile my other food is being carted around by a delivery driver whos about to be blamed and shafted for a tip for something that was no fault of his own.

Having waited nearly 20 minutes to pickup my food. The delivery driver re arrives with my food, which had I not already paid for, I would have walked away from.

Having respect for the my fellow working man, I tipped the delivery driver

I get my now cold food, one of the items ordered was calamari with pepper rings on the side. I get it home and my wife let's me know it is gross and covered in pepper liquid but yet has the peppers on the side. THE DISH WAS PREPARED INCORRECTLY AND THEN HAD THE PEPPER RINGS PULLED OUT.

I cannot even stress how dissopointed I am with the performance of his business.

You are lucky you are the only pizza place in town. I will now drive to charlestown to get my pizza.

What a mind boggling event. Had I paid with a credit card I would do a chargeback. Your food was thrown away because it was equivalent to trash! I was trying to skip out on making dinner. Instead I threw away my time, money and energy by trusting your business...

Keep your hands out of my prepared food, educate your staff about foodsafe practices and procedures and do the right thing by offerering me a full refund for the garbage you left me with. You know who I am.

Everyone, do yourself a favor. Drive a bit a go to K & S Pizza. Dont waste money on this garbage.

Recently I got blocked from the Facebook web page of this restaurant because I mentioned how they had appetizers, that were featured on their specials board, that I noticed were $1 more than they were three or four days before the second posting. The appetizer was cream cheese pepper poppers. They were for $8.95 on the Wednesday before the 2nd posting at $9.95. My comment was that it was cheaper to buy them and make them at home at that price range. My comment was deleted from the comments section so I reposted. I just noticed today that I have now been blocked. The food at this restaurant really isn't that good. Somebody operating a little food truck is much better than this place. Also, if you read the specials board is often as I did, which is pretty much daily, you would notice a trend of them basically offering the same food but made in different ways because most likely somebody over ordered a supply of say pot roast and it would be on the specials board for as much as a week, every single day. Also they tend to put onions, and sometimes piles of it in pretty much every recipe. I got the beef stroganoff meal once with so many onions in it I couldn't eat it and ended up throwing it away. I don't know about anybody else but I have never had onions in beef stroganoff enough to a point where I could build piles of it on the side of the dish. Personally I have never had onions and beef stroganoff anywhere I went other than this place. I think somebody must have over ordered onions also and had to find a way to get rid of them. Also I think their prices are a little bit high as it is. Last night Monday November 27th after working a 15 hour day I went into this place to get something to eat that was decent at 855pm. The sign said still open. When I walked in they admitted they were closing. The woman at the register offered me a couple of slices of pizza. Happy, I said I would take them! I had not eaten all day! She went in back to have a young man warm the slices up for me ( I said it didn't matter I would eat the pizza cold as I was so hungry. She insisted and then found out that those pieces had just been thrown out by an employee who just left. Instead she came back and said that the young gentleman was going to make me a small pizza quickly if I did not mind waiting. Of course I did wait! They stayed a few minutes over to serve a customer! Wow! I am a local business owner. I'm impressed. Kindness and customer service this is not demonstrated in every employee ! Thank you to these individuals ! Really, really exceptional service! I want the owner to know how lucky he/ she is to have you on his team!...
