Twisted Pizza Richmond — Restaurant in Richmond

I’ve visited this location on 3 separate occasions, called in advance 3 separate times, been told over the phone 20-25 minutes and I always ensure to give some extra time just incase. Every time I have shown up, something very easily avoidable has happened to my order and I generally leave with my food 30 minutes after it’s supposed to be “good to go”. Generally it involves one item on my order, I have been in the building while my entire order is handed to someone else, or part of it is. Last time I was in, I waited 30 minutes for French fries. I’ve worked in kitchens, I get they are seasoned but twice now I’ve gone home with piping hot fries and a pizza that needs to be reheated in my own oven at home. I’ve never been in this building when it’s slammed, generally week nights and I’m the only person there until someone else walks in and everything gets mixed up almost immediately. Coming from someone who’s worked in the food industry, this place is an absolute mess.

According to google maps, I live less than one mile away. Yet every time I order delivery it arrives cold, even during the mid-week. Idk if it’s the way they deliver, but $40 for two small pizzas that arrive cold is pretty bad. I had high hopes for this place, but I guess it’s back to town pizza for me.

Story time: one time I got delivery the driver left the pizzas in the snow without ringing the doorbell. We called back to see what happened and was told the driver rang multiple times. Too bad the camera caught them dropping the food in a snow covered potted plant and walking away.

This is a fairly new establishment to this area. You may not want to go here because if you are too friendly like I am, it could be construed as being inappropriate or as I was called, "creepy". I don't appreciate the insult and I don't appreciate the assumption by a young brightly red-headed cashier that seemed to have a attitude and never smiled when ever I went in to pick up my app order.
