We were down in Rhode Island for the weekend. Staying just up the street and on our way back to our hotel. Too tired to want to go back out. It was early around 3:00 p.m. and I saw the sign for the dragon Palace. I mentioned to my husband why don't we try this restaurant, I was sure glad I did. We were sad, promptly and had an excellent service from Allie. I started off with wonton soup and steamed raviolis and then I had the chicken and broccoli dinner and my husband had the general. Tsos dinner, neither of us could finish our meal. I'm glad we didn't judge the driveway and gave the restaurant a chance. There were at least 30 cars around it and that's why we went in, It wasn't overly busy and their actual restaurant section. I did not go into the bar but again don't judge a book by its cover. The outside the restaurant was beautiful. Don't get me wrong but we didn't take the first driveway. We took the second entryway, the sign was broken, vandals, it was a long driveway before you turned behind a gas station and then you drove to the restaurant. Thank you for a nice meal &...
Read moreTwo terrible experiences. Ate in a few months ago, and the kitchen couldn't get our order right. Ended up having a manager coming out (unrequested by us) yelling "no sauce" at us, and making our server cry for doing nothing wrong.
Second time, we tried to order take out, and they waited until we got their to tell us they wanted to charge us extra for the sushi boat that we asked them to use the cheaper sushi on. They then tried to deny it was cheaper, and refused to let us see a menu to show them what it said (which was completely counter to what he was telling us because he was LYING). They also didn't even make the rest of the food, that we saw. If there were extra charges, they should have told us over the phone instead of having us drive out and waste our time.
It's a real shame because the food was decent enough the first time (what they got right). But we'll never go back. I hope the super nice wait staff we had can find better work elsewhere, because management was awful to...
Read moreHORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE: came for dinner last night and couldn't even get a table. We walked in near the bar side and asked for s table for 3. The bar tender/hostess behind the register lazily pointed to the left and said "yeah it's over their" and was clearly not interested in helping us get a seat or even doing her job for that matter. We walked over to the area she pointed to and were immediately stopped by one of the servers who at the time spoke no English and pushed us back to the waiting area. After a few minutes of waiting he all of a sudden spoke perfect English and served a party of 5 that arrived WELL after us. We left before we could even be seated. To be honest, this seems like the type of "sushi bar" where you would order take out but never actually dine in. Needless to say, this pathetic customer service experience will never lead me to try this place again. I would recommend Koto steak house/sushi bar in Groton, CT over this...
