Food quality was as expected from Subway. However portions less then usual (3 spinach leaves, 3 banana peppers, very small amount of chicken - I typically order less chicken but did not this time and it was less then I normally receive at other Subways) Restaurant appeared clean and like a typical Subway. Prior to ordering I observed the owners wife (?) being very disrespectful to a customer who was in to pick up an online order. She was told No you didn’t order. No online orders. The owner came over and quickly already had the order and began prepping it. I was ordering sandwich of the day, 6.49 meal which was clearly labeled on their board and I ordered and pointed to. I asked what type of bread they had and got snapped at and an eye roll. Did not ask if I wanted my food toasted or not, I didn’t. But she just toasted it anyway which is fine, no big deal. Had to ask to add a little more spinach on the sandwich which got a huff but she did it. Then rang up higher then expected which is fine, I didn’t want to argue over a dollar. Asked for my cup and was told no go get a bottle. I stated I ordered with the fountain and would prefer the fountain. So I got yelled at - told I couldn’t have a fountain and to go look at the outside sign. I said that’s fine, but I ordered the fountain because that’s what I prefer. Read moreI understand places are busy but common courtesy if somebody makes an online order at the Subway in Richmond No matter how busy you are common courtesy is to call the customer and let them know you do not carry that sandwich any more! Just don't assume It is OK to give them a different sandwich so you don't lose money. I called them up and automatically Got attitude from whoever is there. I am as well in customer service and do not expect to be Spoken to the way I was. I give whatever you give you give me attitude I give it right back give it right back. if you don't like the way that I treated you just remember how you treated me maybe you need to look in the mirror and change your ways I only give what I receive. I guess going forward I would rather sit in McDonald's line for a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes and get better customer service then I did receive at Subway. #dobetter...
Read moreI was hopefule the first couple of times we went under new ownership. There was always little issues, which honestly happens when first opening. But now it's been a while. The kinks should be worked out. But here I am driving half an hour to get an order fixed. While my food sits at home getting cold, I'm here getting my order fixed. Tried to call but of course the number listed isn't theirs. 🙄 When I tried to explain what happened, they didn't believe me which caused me to wait even longer. Then after looking up my order, he walks away to make a phone call. Seriously?? And then he made the excuse that it was because they had a new person who didn't know the difference between a 6 inch and a foot long....
