Good food, friendly service, fair prices and amazing atmosphere. So why the low rating? It's 2025 and Winkler's Stockyards Restaurant is using all disposable plastic tableware, and styrofoam dishes and take out containers. This place is currently an environmental nightmare. At a minimum, please switch to paper and biodegradable products. There is a menu that mostly includes traditional diner favorites plus a daily special or two. The dining room is small, the atmosphere is cozy and very informal, and the service is friendly. It's like lunch from your grandma's kitchen...
