I would not have even gave it one star i had to click to write this . my husband and i work bery long hours .and when we are to tired ro cook we do rhe next best thing..order in. It took an hour and half for our food ro arrive. When placing the order we were being rushed to finish up and when we asked to repeat the order back we got snapped at and was told .I GOT IT! ...well apparently not .when it finally arrived upon opening it it was all wrong and sooo sloppy it was everywhere we took pics of it none the less for proof. We ordered 2 ..12inch subs one flatbread with rotessrie chicken with all veggies except black olives, spinach, and cheese very little mayonnaise and with mustard... It came like this.. Completely smootherd in mayo. No mustard or cheese. With black olives and not roasted...The second was also a 12 ich but on italian bread with pepperoni ,rotisary chicken and shreeded mixed cheese all vegetables except for black olives or spinch with bufflo sauce . toasted meat and cheese. It came like this...not toasted. No buffalo sauce raw pepperoni, NO CHicken... We also got 2 sodas dr.pepper in fact and 2 bags of chips. Which were ranch Doritos and 1 macadamia cookie. Upset with this as it was a $25.00 order my wife and i call and ask to speak to a manager wbo refused to give us his name or correct these mistakes or give us corporate number. We were talked ro like dogs .were told that he made the orders and that he knew it was right . But obvisoly not. Hence the purpose of our call. Back. So would not correct this told us he was rwfusing our swrvice and as we told him how can you refuse our service after we have recived an order to the house .and our money received. Had to call other subways to get a number for corpr.ate number. We were told that a rhonda owned several stores we left our number to have her return our Call. Later received a call from her . as soon as answered she instantly had an attitude and wasnt even teying to gove me a chance to talk so i raised my voice and told her to be professional and that yes my sandwich were messed up i jad pictures. She was very rude and upset that i had called corporate on one of her stores said she rolled back camras and no olives were on sandwich and that she was sending them to corprate i also. Have pics of the olives plainly on it. She was even more imature than the manager she was defending. Needless to say this coversation didnt last long i was not going to be talked to in that way. She instantly started off by asking if it was ....(our address) and i said yes .(as if i didnt have a formal name) and with an attitude and very angrily shouting "my manager did not cuss you .you told corprate that he did. And i replied Hold up be professional i told corprate that he did everything .But cuss us.. And then i said i would nust deal with corporate that i no longer needed to talk to her at this time and hung up... This restraunt and its staff is the most immature disrespectful and unprofessional bunch of people i have ever had to deal with. McDonald's is bad .i mean bad but compared to this subway on water st .And its staff McDonald's and the kids that work for it is now in our eyes a 5 star fancy restraunt. This is the worst experience ever in my life do not go here or order her unless you want to be treated in this manner . i do not wish no 1 to be out of a job but this group of ppl and its management, owners clearly need to be fired and replaced or it shut down entirly. My neices are more mature than them at this point. They clearly do not have the people in mind most defentlently not customer service people. Its a shame really that out of all the other subways in richmond this one is t by far the worst...... Sincerely...
Read moreIt is incredibly rare that I leave a bad review, and this is my usual subway, and i usually love it. But my experience tonight may keep me from going back.
I will say I normally order on the app, so I just put in what I want and pick it up, and all is good. But tonight the app was on the fritz, so i went in to order.
I don't hear well so communication was difficult. I was ordering 2 sandwiches, and wanted one as is, the other not. The gentleman waiting on me had asked several times about the as is sandwich, and I had stated, no really, just how it comes. I could tell I was annoying him in general, but I know when I cant hear someone it can be really frustrating for them.
If you havent been to this location, they now have a big metal piece that hides the meat and cheese area. I had never seen my sandwich leave that area. But, it had, and when they asked me about toppings I thought they were still working on the as is sandwich, and said just how it comes.
I was really confused when he started working on someone else's sandwich. I thought it was mine (it was an online order), and I clearly annoyed him. He ran down my order and was like we already made your order, do you need something else? With a I'm busy here tone, not a how can I help you tone.
Then we figured out that I had thought they had one sandwich when they had the other. I apologized many times, but i needed my sandwich made differently. I felt super bad because they couldnt even just add to the existing sandwich because my husband has food allergies, and it had to be remade.
I continue to apologize, the this gentleman continues to let me know that it is my fault. And he wasn't letting it go. Maybe he thought I just wasnt hearing or understanding him, but it was super embarrassing as he just continued to berate me and let me know I was the problem.
The two women working with him were super nice and super helpful, but I ended up just paying for the rest of the food and abandoning my dinner because he made me...

AAnnnnnDD THIS IS WHAT THEY SENT HOME WITH US (&we live outskirts of town & the Subway closed down as we was walking out.... it's the feeling you get when its 98degrees outside, your dry & thirsty, you're getting yourself biggest fountain Mt dew at the closest gas station... pay for it, exit the store (still hvnt taken drink ..) get back in your car & go to take the biggest drink -- to get hit with that non carbonated non tasting like that Mt dew your mouj (WE only had the option of drive thru this night for some reason --- AND they even gave us the wrong receipt !!) The next day my boyfriend and I went back to the same subway to inform them of their huge mistake the night before which just led to being lazy. Well instantly the girl I spoke to just gave me an odd look and the guy that I had not spoke with got smart with me and said well what do you want us to do? So my response is give me the two sandwiches that we paid for yesterday would be nice and him and her employees of subway replied back with okay and what were they? I know the owner of the subway she would not accept this kind of attitude especially towards customers I don't know what was going on or why maybe the employees just had a bad day so when you work in food or customer service is your job to leave a smile...
