Once the music starts, conversation is practically impossible. A friend and I met here a while back for a beer and a conversation. We were enjoying the atmosphere and having a good time talking until a DJ came in around 9:00 p.m. He began to play his music at rock concert volume levels. We began looking for a seat further away from speakers, but this was nearly impossible to do because there were speakers everywhere. No matter where we sat, we had to lean into each other's faces and yell in order to talk. Were there people dancing? No. Were people interacting with the music in any way? No. Were there song requests being made? No. The only purpose that this music served was to make conversation impossible. That was also my experience several years ago at the Paddy wagon. If the music was live, it might be appropriate for it to be that loud, but it was not. I couldn't even see why they hired the DJ as his music was not distinctive or noteworthy from the music that had been playing in the background before he came. There was absolutely no good reason for this and it was 100% obnoxious. My friend and I wound up leaving and going to my car to finish our...
Read moreWe were a group of five friends and ordered a pitcher of Corona beer. The server brought us Modelo instead. We didn’t complain at first because we’re not picky and decided to drink it. Later, we asked a lady staff member if it was Corona, and she said she didn’t know. We asked again for a pitcher of Corona, and she confirmed they had it. However, she brought the same Modelo again, insisting it was Corona.
I have no problem if they serve a different beer, but being given something else while claiming it’s what we ordered feels disrespectful. This isn’t about the drink—it’s about honesty and how customers are treated. Serving the wrong beer twice and expecting us to believe it’s something else makes us feel like they think their customers are fools. I am a restaurant manager so I know how the beer tastes. Very disappointing.
Food was ok. No complains because it’s all frozen and packed food which...
Read moreWe have been to this place many times. Mostly good experiences. I am a professional with a master's degree, and my fiancee is a prominent lawyer. This evening we decided to ride the motorcycle so we were dressed in gear. Upon ordering food (we were drinking water) we were asked to start a tab. He was offended and said as much but I provided my payment anyway. We noticed other tables around us were not asked to start a tab when ordering food. When the food was delivered, the manager arrived and asked my fiancee if he cursed at the waitress, which he did not and we said as much. The manager was not going to accept that answer, kept pushing, and essentially kicked us out of the resturant. I would never recommend this place for...
