2 stars because the food is generally good the 3 times we have been there. Other that than the service staff should be trained in how to properly interact with customers and be prompt in getting to your needs. Our waitress took our order (for drinks) left for about 10 minutes, then came back an asked for what we wanted to order for dinner. I gave the benefit of the doubt and waited to see if she would come back with drinks.....Nope. I had to ask can we have our drinks please. She said let me see if they are ready. Wow, really! Had to ask for refills. Then while she was yawning looking at their own menu, because it was very slow, I had to ask if we could get our check. I don't think a customer should have to ask for their drinks, and check. They food came out normal. No complaints with that but the service staff has been very not on their game the past 3 times we went there. 2nd time it took an hour and a half to get out of there because everything took so long. We go back because the food is decent and there isn't much more in town. Owner of this establishment needs to properly train their employees on how to wait...

Both of them were extremely pleasant, and whatever wait time there was for dinner seemed to be non-existent because of them.
Our food was delicious and hot. I had the chicken marsala and the chicken was so tender I didn't need a knife. The marsala sauce was full of large sliced mushrooms. It was very rich. I assume my hubby's fish and chips was good because he was too busy eating to talk 😂. Overall our dining experience was perfect. 5* About 4 yrs ago I gave a 1* review. Service was good, considering how busy they were. Both my husband and I ordered Prime Rib and both came out cold. I asked for a new one and it was cold as well. Took it home to cook it.
Between the noisy customers in the dining room (we couldn't hear ourselves talk), and the cold dinner I...
Read moreWe stopped unexpectedly on a trip when our brakes ceased operation. We were referred to Washington County auto for repair (Amazing and Awesome) who refrrred is to the inn for lunch while they made the magic happen on Friday afternoon Labor Day weekend In the car. We walked to the inn and had a very good lunch. Pub atmosphere, big menu, friendly service. We ordered club sandwiches with sweet potato Fries. Very generous amount of fresh filling, Crispy bacon and crispy fries. It appears to be the local casual spot with live music and open mike. They had homemade desserts, one of which we ordered, a tollhouse cookie pie Sunday with ive cream and whipped cream. Very good not excessively sweet. They had an Italian Lemon Dessert which sounded great and cinnamon Ice cream with cinnamon sugar crisps to go with. All in all a day that could have been a nightmare was actually quite nice. Friendly little town with nice people! Where can I review Washington County...
