I just ordered ice cream.
They have an eclectic menu for ice cream. Not your average flavors which I appreciate very much because that's what will set them apart from the rest.
I was looking for a mint chocolate chip cone because it was my first time there and if you mess that flavor up then I won't try anything else. Since MCC is a basic flavor and they don't carry those in the hard ice cream, I had no choice than to be adventurous.
Service was great! The place was clean and had a good wholesome vibe.
The Lemon Pie (w pieces of lemon cookie) was AMAZING! I love lemon but most lemon flavored products taste artificial or like cleaner lol. NOT THIS ICE CREAM 🍦!
I'm excited to stop there to see what other creative flavors they're serving!

The basic burger tasted better, which is why I wondered about the grilled onions. The fries are crisp and hot, but they're the super-processed kind: pure off-white, no skin or dark patches and taste like mealy, processed potato that's been fried til crisp. The milkshake really didn't taste great, either: it was thin, not very cold, and had an off flavor compared to the chocolate soft-serve. Read moreFantastic all around! Food is everything you want from a classic American burger stand but punched up for modern tastes. Ice cream is top notch, both soft and hard serve. The renovation of the historic restaurant stand was done perfectly, it stays true to the original feel but added badly needed amenities like outdoor seating, bathrooms, and a barrier between the road and building. The owners are a very attentive couple who have executed their vision beautifully. Price is good, you can get a burger or chicken sandwich for 10 bucks. Perfect place to take the family, my kids loved it (the snow cones were a big hit with our lactose intolerant 6 yr old)
Can't recommend this place...
