Best of Everything Deli — Restaurant in Ridgewood

Had Frank and team cater for a gathering of 20 friends. With a little guidance Frank put a perfect menu to gather. Stuffed mushrooms, Coconut shrimp, cheese and fruit platter.Rigatoni Bolognese, Sicilianano chicken and Beef Tenderloin with mushroom and onions, broccoli robe. Tricolored salad and rolls.

It was delivered and set up at the time we had arranged, with perfect instructions to keep warm until serving time. Extra sauces, serving spoons and tongs for every dish.

My favs out of the above, stuffed mushrooms, beef tenderloin and rigatoni bolognese but to be honest there was not a bad dish. Everyone praising / commenting on every dish, including the great rolls. All cooked to perfection and complementing each other. As usual with Frank at The Best of Everything we had more than enough food, in fact I had a tenderloin sandwich 4 days after with his horseradish sauce and it was superb.

What can you say about this place, the name says it all ....in business for over 30 years and it shows the food is delicious, you know how some places are known for one or two good specific meals, not this place, everything they put out is AAA, I heard the eggplant is phenomenal but I've never tried it because I'm allergic to it, the thin crust pizza is the "best" in the tri-state it's no wonder Generations come that have moved away always come back when therein the area, to even come close you have to travel to Connecticut for Pepe's for Modern. The subs let's just say they're not lazy sandwich makers here, they toast the bread in a pizza oven which makes a world of difference and their Italian subs are packed with quality meats, no second-rate thumann's meats, or ankle swelling Jersey Mike Meats, the paninis are mouth watering delicious. The vodka sauce is the best ever,, and the buffalo chicken mac and cheese is a huge hit with everyone young and old, you can't go wrong having your party catered...

I recently ordered from Best of Everything Deli last minute for a party for about 20 adults and 10 kids. I spoke to Anthony a few times on the phone and met him in person. He was very polite, friendly and helpful with deciding what I should order and the amount. He even told me not to add more items because it will be way too much which I highly appreciate (I ended up having 10 people cancel the day before so thank goodness I listened to him) The food that I ordered was all very good, most of my guests thought it was home made and wanted the recipe. The food that I ordered was simple, salad, mac n cheese, potato salad, egg plant dish and grilled vegetables, however they were all prepared very well. My guests were very happy with the food and I have tons and tons of left overs which I am fine eating for the next few days. Very happy with my choice to use this deli for catering.
