Read moreTLDR: Great quesadillas and desserts, snug little spot and they make the food fast!
Long review: While the food is great, I don't like this spot because I'm a doordash delivery contractor and this location exploits food delivery workers around the area. They use a service through buying dot com for deliveries which routes orders through to doordash, but due to an error/exploit, all orders are listed as a single item, so its minimum pay even if its actually a massive order. Anyone who delivers in ridgewood will know about picking up massive bags of food and delivering 15 miles for $2.50. Great food, but if you're saving money on the backs of delivery workers who are keeping business alive during the pandemic, this issue should be resolved so its fair. I'm hoping in time we can see a positive improvement here!
Also edit: Having poor pay means bad quality delivery because workers will decline high mileage two dollar orders over n over which means - long wait times for pick ups, which means ice cold food for customers, which means negative reviews for the restaurant. Not to mention, poor ratings for delivery workers (who lose their jobs) and since everything is listed as 'test order items unknown' in our dd system, we cannot verify customer items...
