I was craving some pho after a Saturday hike (yes, I’d probably the only crazy person who wants hot soup after a workout on a summer day), and I found TC’s Little Taste of Saigon on Yelp. It’s a small restaurant that looks like someone’s house, so it’s really easy to miss. There’s also limited parking (maybe three spots out in front?) but we got a spot since we went in for a late lunch, maybe around 1:45.

I ordered the combo pho. It’s not the best pho but it will do in a pinch. They don’t even give you thai basil or jalapeños. For drinks, I had the lemonade soda. It was too sweet for me but nothing some water couldn’t fix. My husband had the bun bo hue, which was pretty spicy - not something you want to eat on a hot day. It’s also not traditionally made - it seemed like they just had the lemongrass based broth and added chili flakes to it, but it was still pretty good overall. I especially liked the thicker noodles they used which bun bo hue is typically served with, so at least they followed that part of the recipe.

While I would go out of my way to come back here, it’s not a bad option for pho if you happen to be...

I'm planning to give TCs quite a few visits over the next couple of weeks as I'm planning a vacation in Vietnam, and wanted to try something authentic. Last night we ordered take out and tried out three entrees, an appetizer, and soup. The decor, at least for my in-out dash, looked very relaxing and quaint - made me wish I was dining in. All dishes were well-packed and came with an assortment of side sauces, chopsticks, etc.. At home my wife and I sampled all the dishes and really had a good time. The Goi Cuan was a great start; fresh and light, with two sauce options. Soups and entrees were wonderful. The Bun Cha Gio was a surprise, and quite good. The Bun Bo Hue was quite spicey; I loved it, my wife had to cease and desist. The Com Ga Nuong tasted good, but was a bit dry. I'll give some concession as this was take-out and not served right to the plate. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed the meal. It was very reasonable, nearby, and most important - different. We'll be back. (4 stars for...

Very nice quaint little place, easy to miss if you don't slow down. Be sure to park across the street, you may not fit and then have to reverse out the back way... The pho tai nam gau tal'gum is amazing and flavorful! For some reason though, I was skimped out on meat, just a few thin strips. The vegetable pho... Very very bland and watery, no comparison. Lemonade so sweet and strong but good if you pour some iced water into it. The server who took our order as well didn't seem to speak any English, had to repeat "number six please, six" over and over a few minutes until he understood me. Also they forgot to give us our drinks and we had to stand and ask for them.. but despite all that, high rating, delicious,...

This restaurant has been around since I was about 9 years old (currently 26) and the food is still amazing. It is owned by the most loving Vietnamese woman named Chi. If you are looking for the most home feeling Pho and experience in the area it is here. Coming from a Vietnamese family myself, this is the closest to home cooked as you will get. Food is served fast and fresh. The restaurant is small yet perfect for the experience it is trying to capture. The bathroom is remarkably clean and adorable. Parking is a little difficult but worth it if you can find a spot. Will always choose this place if in the area.

I’ve been ordering from Little TCs for years and the food is always on point. The last four times I’ve ordered I noticed that their spring rolls(the ones with the rice paper) have gotten smaller and smaller. The last time I ordered them I had to laugh out loud because I couldn’t believe how skinny they were!! Aren’t they mostly lettuce anyway? I have friends who order from them and also have seen the same.. and the price hasn’t gone down so what am I missing? The picture posted is what they USED to be like. Now picture them 1/3 or that size. Wild.
