The visual aesthetic of this establishment is calming and takes you down memory lane with items like antique typewriters, copper gutters above the bar upstairs and a nice warm fire place to warm you while you feast on good eats, along with many other eye catching items that you can notice just by sitting down and truly embracing the space. Not to mention the most talented barmaid, Jenna, who listens attentively to each of her customers, and serves up libations with a smile and grace. Do you know that bartenders make the best therapists!? Well they do, so you better reach into your pockets and show gratitude. I was told Casey's is family owned, and it shows in service and style. The food was delicious. I had the whiskey burger with chips. I could even taste the Guinness in the cheese sauce and the burger was cooked medium well just like I like it. Everything was super fresh. The chips I was told are baked, not greasy not oily just so delicious. I'll definitely be back! Thanks Casey's and Jenna for making my first experience at Casey's a good one!
Update Visit 4/11/22: still a great place to go. This visit I had the BLT Wedge Salad and it was AMAZING! Manny (Maddie?) Our waitress was very sweet and attentive to our entire table! Nice...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, my experience at this establishment was deeply disappointing and troubling. While on a date, my partner and I were approached and asked to leave due to what staff described as “public displays of affection” — specifically, brief hugs and a few kisses. We were respectful, fully clothed, and simply enjoying our time together, so this response felt both excessive and discriminatory.
What was even more concerning was the lack of transparency and professionalism from management. I called afterward to seek clarification and was told there is an “understood” no-PDA policy — though this is not posted or communicated anywhere. When I asked for further explanation, I was abruptly hung up on.
As an African American woman, I left feeling that this treatment was rooted in something far deeper than policy. I have never felt so unwelcome in a place where I chose to spend my money. Based on my experience, I would caution others — especially those from the Black community — to consider whether this is a space that truly respects and values all of...
Read moreIt's a cool place, and could be waaayyyy better. We were recently with a larger party and the main server was completely not sociable and seemed unhappy to even be there. (now I served before and I totally understand the pressure of a larger party), but she had bussers, runners, and 2 servers even helping too. She even pawned off the request for a group photo on a busser. We asked her specifically because we were gonna leave a nutso tip for the whole party on tip of what others tipped. But we instead gave the other runner/busser the money because she was super cool about accepting the photo request. The food was sub-par. I ate there before precovid and I was be er disappointed. This time our table ordered crab cake platter, cheesesteak, cs egg rolls and crab balls. The crab cakes and balls were super dry and full of breading (they weren't before) a d more expensive than before. The cheesesteak was just gross and the egg rolls were overcooked and completely dried out. It was very disappointing to see a place that could be so much fall so far. I won't be returning even with gifted...
