Rita's equals Summer! There is no getting away from that. It's something that almost all of us look forward to during the cold winter months, and then suddenly.......it's here! The flavors are terrific and choices of flavors can give one great pause as you try to figure out which size and flavor you wish to try today. There is off street parking and the employees are friendly and very helpful. Taste samples are available to help you make this very difficult decision. On a hot summer day, there is nothing more refreshing than a Rita's Italian Ice. So I came to Rita’s in Folsom, a store I never been to before, happy to see they had my favorite flavor.. I order a large, Noelle asked me if I wanted a lid for my water ice, I said yes, that I wanted one on the side so I could save it for later… she purposely didn’t put the Rita’s “dome” On it and I asked her why she flattened the top with a lid on the side and she rushed me away from the counter… once I started eating my water ice I noticed she didn’t fill it all the way ! So one star for the rude girl at the counter that doesn’t understand the customer comes first in customer service. I’ve been coming to this location for a while. Yesterday I ordered 2 regular gelatis with extra custard and a pretzel , which came to $15!! I brought this back since I was in the drive thru in an effort not to hold up the line. I spoke with the owner. She was SNIPPY at first but withdrew after I corrected her and questioned the quality and integrity of her business practices and product. She rectified by ultimately agreeing to my request of a refund and repurchasing of a a large size which was greater proportioned And offered to allow me to keep the previously made gelatis. Not my best experience but I have had worse experiences elsewhere. I am still willing to give them...
