Well, I don’t write reviews often but this is needed…. I just got off the phone with the manager Tommy, and I am blown away at the lack of customer service skills coming from a “small business owner.” My family and I use to go to the juice pod often. I haven’t been there in a while because the last time I was there, they messed up my order that I waited for, for almost an hour. Today, I decided to give them another try. I ordered 5 bowls, which I paid $70 (including tip). When I got home I realised 4 of the bowls were incorrect. My toddler started eating one, so I called and asked if they could remake 3. I had to drive back and grab the bowls. When I was there I asked if I could get refunded for at least one bowl for the inconvenience because now I’m wasting gas and time and I paid $70 for this. They said no and gave me their managers number. This is the text I sent: “ Hello Tommy. My names Melanie. I was given your number from Reese And Aleena at the Juice Pod. I’m a frequent customer, my family loves the bowls And smoothies. Today, I ordered 4 raider bowls And a banana spilt. When I got home, I realized the raider bowls were incorrect. I had to drive back from Norwood And grab the correct bowls, this is an inconvenience. I paid almost $70 for 5 bowls, 4 which were incorrect And now I’m wasting gas And time. I’m sure you know money is tight in this economy. I asked at least for one bowl to be refunded for the inconvenience, I was told no And given your number. Please let me know how we can resolve this issue. Thank you!” … A few minutes later Tommy calls me. He says that his policy is to give the customer an extra bowl because he doesn’t trust young kids to be handling cash because they can pocket it and doesn’t want anybody to steal. I said ok? There’s no way you can refund me for one bowl just for the inconvenience? I mean it’s $13, I’m not asking for the full $70. His attitude then starts to change and he says I don’t know what you want from this conversation, my policy is to give an extra bowl, not a refund. I stated I don’t want an extra bowl, I want to be compensated for the inconvenience. Words were exchanged and I said, maybe you shouldn’t hire young kids that you don’t trust. He said, don’t bash my employees. Then I said, I’m not bashing anyone, you just stated you can’t trust your own employees to handle cash because they’ll steal. I realized the conversation was going absolutely no where, I told him to take a class in customer service and I wish him good luck with his business and...
Read moreThis place is amazing. We were greeted with smiles and just overall joy. The place was extremely clean first off and the people inside seems genuinely happy to be there (these days you don’t see that). My wife got a smoothie and I got a bowl. One of the guys mixed the peanut butter and coconut base which turned out amazing. The product served was fresh and it was made with care. The best part is that they were excited to make me something that was a customized menu item and it turned out amazing. If you venture to the back there is additional seating and a pretty cool spot that has counter style seats with an outside view. I can’t say enough of how impressed I was with this place and also understand why business does not seem like a problem with all the walk in traffic, online orders, delivery etc. They server more than just amazing bowls and smoothies but food too. Can’t wait to go back and try their paninis. Anyway, if you are reading this, take comfort in knowing that if you go here, you are gonna get awesome friendly service with fresh product in a very clean environment. The vibe of this place is relaxing and comfortable this review won’t do any justice. A+++ I’d give this place more than 5 stars if I could. Thank you Juice...
Read moreHad the Juice Pod 3 times now and all times were great. They have a wide variety of smoothie flavors, all using real fruit (you can tell it’s not fruit juice because it’s not overly sweet and the color isn’t too vivid). They have flavors ranging from berries, tropical fruits such as mangoes and pitaya, and green healthy options, something for everyone. Also, they have food options such as toasts, bagels, oatmeal, smoothie bowls, and flatbread pizzas. The bagel with avocado, boiled eggs, tomatoes, and goat cheese is soo tasty and big, they aren’t stingy with their portions. The oatmeal they give you a lot of and load it with cinnamon, great for the fall. The Margherita pizza is delicious, and even more so is the Mediterranean pizza. The prices here are pretty high so it’s not something to have everyday, but the quality and quantity they give you are definitely worth it for a treat. It’s also cute inside, it’s like a mini cafe with workers who are hard at work and good with the customers. It’s nice to have this place in the area, gives people healthier and delicious options for breakfast, lunch,...
