Ordered takeout and it was out of this world as always. When I called they were super busy and I let them know I will wait if Chef can accommodate and I provided my order. Let them know I’m right down the street and just need a 5 minute notice and they would call back when it wasn’t busy - they called me back in less than 30 minutes and said ready in 10 minutes. I love the fact that if they are too busy and can’t accommodate at that time they’re honest. It’s a small family business the Mom is the host and probably one of my favorites she is like old school south Philly meets Mother Theresa! The chef is a perfectionist and I always try at least one special and have never regretted it. I am utterly amazed each time at the dishes he comes up with. Overall price wise they cannot be beat, huge portions and every bite was heavenly. Where can you get this much fresh, delicious food for under $100 no where except New American Bistro. It’s also extremely rare to get take out and it be as good as served in the restaurant. The beet with pistachio encrusted goat cheese salad with raspberry dressing. This salad had it all! Everything was so fresh and crisp. There were so many bursts of flavor. This was a special hopefully it will be added to the menu. Rating: 5/5 Spicy crab chowder - we always order. It’s my husband’s favorite soup. Rating: 5/5 Blackened Scallops with Raviolis and Lobster Sauce - we always order. Appetizer size comes with 4 blackened scallops and a couple ravioli. Rating: 5/5 Maryland crab cake with Ravioli and pesto sauce. This was my first time trying and typically does not get pesto dishes. This had so much flavor and was refreshing if that makes any sense. Appetizer size comes with a very large crab cake and a couple ravioli. Rating: 5/5 Gnocchi's with Jumbo Lump Crabmeat and Gorgonzola Sauce- this is my absolute favorite dish. The Gorgonzola sauce you could drink. I dip the homemade bread in the sauce after. It’s my favorite. I’m a huge Gorgonzola fan I put it on everything. The Gorgonzola sauce on this particular dish I find to be mild and perfection. I just woke up thinking of this dish it is so unbelievably good. Rating: 5/5

This has got to be the best restaurant in Delaware County. It's a Quaint little mom and pop with great service and excellent food. Prices a reasonable for the amount of food you get( Which is a lot) and the presentation not to mention the excellent flavor. Everything I ever ate at the New American Bistro has been superb. Today I had the Short Ribs and Mac . The Mac an cheese you can tell was home mad with multiple types of cheese and seasons and the short ribs were tender and juciey. Not to mention all their deserts are home made I had the strawberry short cake. Best I had.

The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Everyone in my party was pleased with their dishes. Appetizers: The Crab Dip, Stuffed Mushrooms, Mussels in White Wine Garlic Sauce. Main Courses: Stuffed Flounder, Chicken Parmesan, Steak Diane, Flank Steak & Shrimp with Bourbon Cream Sauce, Potato Gnocchi's with Jumbo Lump Crab Meat and Gorgonzola Cheese Sauce!!! Desserts: Creme Brulee Cheesecake and Limoncello Cake. Everything was amazing and highly recommended. Check the specials on the board when you walk in due to them changing daily.

Go for both a fine dining experience with prompt and friendly service, and a terrific meal. During our most recent visit we enjoyed the crab bisque and snapper soups. Both of which could not have been better. For our entrees we thoroughly enjoyed the veal medallions with shrimp and ravioli. It sounds like an odd combination, but believe me, it was to die for. I almost never order ravioli out, but it came with the veal, and wow, it was fantastic. We also had the shrimp scampi with capellini pasta and rosa sauce. The quality of the food for the money just can't be beat. If you haven't enjoyed a meal here yet, get on the phone and make the first reservation you can. You...

A wonderful family owned BYOB restaurant with a wide menu of unique, inviting appetizers, soups, salads and entrees. A hidden gem with a very talented chef. The butternut squash soup with gnocchi and bacon was the best I have ever had ... so flavorful. My entree from the special board, pork snitzle with a mushroom sauce was out of this world, with tasty fresh carrots/squash veggies and mashed potatoes. My wife raved over her hazelnut halibut entree, and my niece loved her pasta with crab. Generous portions, with a yummy side salad and bread too. Our server was great and did not rush us at all. Will definitely return, and...
