Tower Pizza — Restaurant in Ridley Township

Love, love, love this place. I finally found a recommendable pizza joint. #1 point I want to make is-they make your food truly to order; they take your order as given and that is what you receive. As a single mom with 3 picky eaters in the house this is a very important factor to assure everyone has a good experience. But please read on...I'm a Philly girl who moved here 3.5 years ago and I shopped around for almost a year and I was so pleased with myself pushing for Tower pizza over my daughter's coworkers recommendation that night. We have eaten from a few other pizza spots since but only when others are treating; at like a birthday party or such. Please understand If I'm buying I'm calling Tower Pizza. I've been in many spots over my life and worked at several pizza places when I was young the first thing that jumped out at me was the cleanliness when I walked in. Which is an absolutely amazing feat when working with food especially grease all day. The staff are all friendly and customer service is great. They have a decent size dine-in area, also kept well and they're kid friendly. If you've never tried them I say its a must and if you had before you need to go back again. Always a good experience. Like my 1st point you get what you asked for; what you wanted and that is so important when dropping money any where for take out these days. Which, how'd I forget they're prices are reasonably set compared to others locally and love their M-W...

Called in to pick up. Big pizza and 20 wings. I showed up in 15 min. at the most. Food was ready. I was hungry so I had some in the parking lot before heading home. Pizza was done nicely. Slightly sweet sauce but bland cheese. Obviously some cheap version of mozzarella. The second piece tasted a bit bitter after it cooled off. I decided to get the mild wings, so I can put my own hot sauce on when I got home because my girlfriend doesn't like them that hot. They were also very Bland. The mild sauce had absolutely no heat. And hardly any flavor. The wings, I think , were boiled first. Because they had no flavor. Like they were cooked out of it. The skin was soggy. Now remember I was there in 15 minutes or less. I'm giving this review a 2-star because I have had worse. This is my first time here. I will try other items and give more unbiased reviews. Oh yeah, watch out for the oil running off the pizza. Gotta few drips on...

Use to order from Tower frequently. No more for sure. Their food is average at best, but that's not the problem. This place keeps jacking up the prices at a insanely ridiculous rate. If their food was amazing, I'd then still consider ordering from there at times. But as I said, their food is average at best while charging outrageous prices these days.. A month ago was the last time for me because I ordered two sandwiches, two fries & a 20 oz soda and they had the nerve to tell me $56.00 lol... I told them to cancel the order and that that's ridiculous.. I then called a different pizza shop, ordered the same exact things, but for $13 cheaper than Tower.
