Ola Sunset Café — Restaurant in Rincón

Self service. Only bar bite food. The location is fantastic. But the food was terrible. We had food poisoning after eating enpanadias pollo. Be carful. Tostones was good. Drinks costs $10 buy it comes in large cup. Only one size. Another big disadvantage is the payment. They accept only cash or ATH Móvil. Also surprised that T-Mobile do not have signal coverage there. I agree with the many comments about the service of staff. The attitude is bad. Probably because they don’t get any tips due to self service. There is scope for full dining bar-restaurant. Last December I brought my 86 year old parents down to PR to take a driving vacation around the island. Our first stop was the Faro (Lighthouse) in Rincon by Domes beach. They had a craving for a Pina Colada and the Ola Pica Sweet Cafe was just what we needed. It was by far the best of many that week. Surpassed even ones in Condado. They loved Rincon, Cabo Rojo, Ponce, El Yunque, La Concha and the Intercontinental in Isla Verde. They repeatedly told me it was their best vacation of their lives. And it started with a Pina Colada. Really disappointed with this place, or should I say the terrible service the guy at the bar gave us. Came here with a friend especially for the orange mojitos, which they had a full bowl of oranges on display at the bar and a sign that said “orange mojitos”... The bartender started complaining that he didn’t want to squeeze oranges cause he was tired and talking to us with a sarcastic tone. We just left because we were just looking to have a good time and not start a fight with the bartender. Terrible attitude, terrible service.
