Villa Playa Maria — Local services in Rincón

Our company normally travels to all-inclusive 4-5 star resorts in the Caribbean every year. This year we thought of switching it up and going to Puerto Rico. Although we couldn't find anything all-incusive, and our group was a bit larger than normal this year so we didnt want to break the bank. I found this property on Google and it looked amazing. There was lots of skepticism about the convenience of having a house for all 16 of us for a full 8 days, but it worked for our budget. Needless to say, the property was beyond phenomenal. All the rooms had their own bathrooms and all but one room had its own entrance from the outside, so it was very private for everyone. Btw the bathrooms are super nice, the pictures doesn't do them justice. House keeping made beds everyday and tidied up. We had a chef make breakfast/brunch daily for us, and dinners every other night. Our chef, Gaby, was incredible. He should open his own restaurant! Jorge and Amy managed the property and they were super friendly. They made grocery runs for us on demand and gave our group rides to town and back. And Elizabeth above all, who handled the coordinating for us, was on top of everything to make sure our trip was flawless and stress free. So thank you all for making this trip perfect for us! Seriously, look no further. There isn't a better spot in town with better immediate beach access, bars with live music and a nightlife, and quiet nights away from light pollution for a perfect view...

My family and I were blessed to spend a few days at this glorious oceanfront villa in Rincon, PR. As someone with a background in hospitality, I am trained to notice the details. Every single detail shined. From the handwritten welcome note, to the hand bound villa guide, and the stunning local flower greeting me in my room. I immediately felt at ease. The team was warm, hospitable, and welcoming. Marilyn always had a big smile (under her mask) and a joyous story to share as she refreshed our rooms and cleaned. Gabby (the chef) cooked delicious, on point meals to feed our hungry, adventurous group. The sunsets were epic (see below). The joy, palpable. Did I mention the outdoor shower? Surf school next door, bars within walking distance, a chic AF juice shop just up the hill. I can't imagine how it could get better than this. Thank you Team Villa Playa Maria, we loved...

I had the most wonderful experience planning my retreat with Elizabeth at VPM. First, I knew that this was the place to host my yoga retreat just by the photos (and amazing word of mouth). It is so obvious that the owners take such special care of their space. By then, I was blown away at how responsive, caring, and helpful Elizabeth was in helping with my planning. She led me through each step of the way, helped plan awesome excursions, and was thoughtful and considerate about each visitors comfort and ease. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my retreat due to personal reasons, but I CANNOT wait to resume planning with them when the timing is right!
