Where do I begin? Well, with the great food! From the photos online and all of the other reviews, I knew we just HAD to try this place. I've heard so much about it from other folks and figured, it's sad they are closing at the end of December, so why not support a great local business and two great folks who give it their all, Patrick and Katie. When the food came out, it was something you'd see on a Gordon Ramsey show, absolutely fabulous! I ordered a chicken type dish which came with broccoli, some kind of ham and also the best mashed potatoes I've ever eaten in my life! My honey got a pasta bowl with lightly browned shrimp, smoked bacon pieces and peas. The cream in the pasta was to die for, SO SO good, I can taste it right now, just writing out this review. We saw other folks having bread, so we just had to put an order in. The bread was the best bread I've ever tried in my life! It was crispy and crunchy on top, just right. Our final was the donuts. My honey describes them as better than at the county fair, which is a fair statement because they were absolutely awesome! It's so sad to see a great business like this close, but I do hope my post has talked you into checking it out before they close in December 2025. Best wishes to Katie and Patrick. ...

#1- For kicking the door down in Ripon WI where any style other than meat and potatoes may not fly, credit to you all for getting it.
#2- We've been twice, and amazing how the menu changes EVERY time to give those who want different their satisfaction
#3- Product. Wow. Sure, you order a steak or fish and that is what it is alone. Here? Great quality, BUT! The sauces, marinades, and love that go into every dish are through the rood. Who wants to take a picture of an empty plate, but I should have. Literally every time our plates have been entirely empty with a frantic fork trying its best to capture all the leftover sauce alone.
#4- The staff. All ridiculously friendly and helpful- ready to answer any and all questions and go above and beyond the talk of food to talk of their passion.
#5- Eat there. Make the trip if more than a few miles away from them, and enjoy what they have.
#6- Not a relative or worker of Fox and Crow whatsoever. Family- not by blood, but we sure feel like it every time we visit.
#7- Cheers Fox and Crow. Keep doing what you are doing, and we wish you only the best...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDuring our recent visit to Fox and Crow in Ripon, Wisconsin, we had an exceptional dining experience, thanks to Chef Patrick and his team. The restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements the friendly and attentive service we received throughout our meal.
We decided to try a variety of small plates, each thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The standout dishes for us were the Shrimp and Lobster Risotto and the Steak Bolognese. The risotto was rich and creamy, with generous portions of tender shrimp and lobster that added a delightful sweetness to the dish. The Steak Bolognese was equally impressive, perfectly cooked with a robust and flavorful sauce that left us wanting more.
Overall, Fox and Crow delivered an outstanding culinary experience. Whether you're looking for an evening out or a special occasion, this restaurant is a fantastic choice. Chef Patrickās creativity and passion for food shine through in every dish, making it a must-visit dining...
