We would come back again. Been here twice over the last few months. Interesting beer choices and, on the second go round, we found a pizza we liked that was prepared well with ample toppings. The Prosciutto Blue Fungi. Aaron definitely made our second visit worth us trying Knuth’s again. The APA and the Worker’s Mild Brown Ale were enjoyable. The first time, we came midweek in June and it was average. The service (waitress) was not attentive or friendly. Not forthcoming with suggestions or even a smile. We did not get her name. Tried a flight of beers and while they were pleasant, they were not a cut above some of the other brewery flights we’ve had in the North Central Wisconsin area. Large Margarita Pizza took forever, had two basil leaves, no tomatoes or garlic, little cheese and was not hot. Meh. Knowing what a good guy Dave is, we wanted to try Knuth’s again. This time, midweek in September, we sat at the bar. Aaron was warm and friendly. We knew to avoid the Marg pizza, so opted for the Large Prosciutto Blue Fungi pizza. Yum! Not really very large, but arrived fast and hot. Had pints of the beers mentioned above and...
Read moreWe had the privilege of having the Knuth Brewing event space upstairs this last weekend for our niece's wedding. THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE! Not only is the space bright, open, and modern with a nod to its historic roots, the offerings of the space are above and beyond any other venue we've experienced. We had the space on Friday for rehearsal dinner, all day Saturday for the event, and even had access to the space Sunday! We used Sunday for clean up but is a wonderful space for brunch or gift opening, if necessary. The staff was equally incredible as every one of them were friendly, helpful, hard working, patient, and understanding. AND THE FOOD! I didn't know beef tips could taste like that! If you're looking for a place that is the whole package, make sure to book your event at Knuth Brewing Company. Its less than 45 minutes from...
Read moreI was in a party of three which attempted to eat at this less than hospitable eatery. Upon entering the restaurant we found several employees busy with tasks much more important than the pesky tasks of greeting patrons, seating them, and providing them with menus. After seating ourselves and waiting an unreasonable amount of time for a server to grace us with their presence I got up and hunted out menus for our party. We perused the menu for some time all without an employee being able to tear themselves away from the pressing business of ignoring patrons. Almost in unison the three of us said "Let's go somewhere else." We left our menus on the table and walked out. The employees showed incredible dedication to their goal of not serving anyone any food and studiously ignored our exit. Ridiculous and an amazing example of how to...
