Naan N Oven — Restaurant in Ripon

We visited Naan N Oven on July 5th, 2025, at 9:20 PM, and had a truly wonderful experience.

First of all, the food here is superb. Every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. From the tender naan to the rich curries, everything tasted authentic and satisfying. You can tell they really care about the quality and consistency of their cooking.

The service was excellent. Mr. Dinesh, in particular, took such great care of us. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our meal. All the staff members were very welcoming and genuinely kind, which made the evening even more enjoyable.

The restaurant itself is also very clean and well-maintained. The dining area felt inviting, tidy, and nicely organized, which is always a big plus.

Overall, I highly recommend Naan N Oven if you’re anywhere near Salida or Modesto. Whether you’re looking for a casual dinner or something special, this place will not disappoint. Superb food, warm hospitality, and a clean, friendly atmosphere—everything you could want in a great dining experience.

Doordashed an order of Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, and Gulab Jamun. A small container of basmati rice was included which was a nice bonus to the meal

Butter chicken was excellent, as well as the Garlic Naan and rice. For a quick lunch before getting back to work, it's just enough to leave you satisfied but wanting just a liiitle bit more chicken.

Gulab Jamun, whether it was something to do with my dasher or the restaurant, I can not in good conscience recommend. While the flavor is there (if you like these types of things), $8 for what was ostensibly 2 (yes, only two) Dunkin Donut Munchkin sized dough balls is not worth it regardless if it was the best thing on the menu. Today was the first time I tried this restaurant & it definitely deserves the 5 star reviews! You won't find friendlier staff and the restaurant is super clean. Butter chicken was honestly some of the best I've had. I know flavor profiles vary depending on the region, but whatever region this BC is from, it's my new favorite. We also had the chicken biryani, which was a generous portion and also good, just not what I'm used to. For the prices, especially, you can't go wrong here and they have a $10 lunch plate special or $20 buffet which is my favorite way to introduce people to Indian food.
