I really want to love this restaurant & support a restaurant in our town. If this review was ONLY about the food i would give it 4 stars however the service and experience wasn't good.

The very first time we tried to dine here, the hostess gave us a weird vibe and when we told her we were a party of 2 she told us it would be a 45min wait since we didn't have a reservation. My husband asked again and the hostess told us they were only seating "large parties". we waited a couple minutes we decided to go somewhere else & let them know nevermind. As we were leaving, another party of 2 walked in with no reservation (they were asked as well) & were seated at a table. Which we thought was strange.

Last night, we gave it a try again. I made reservations this time to avoid any possible issues. We arrived for our 7:15 reservation. Same hostess, same weird vibe as the first Time. Not sure if it's the way we were dressed (casual jeans and sweaters, the way we look or what. ) We were told it would be about 10min for the party that was at our table to finish up. No problem. Another party came in after us and were seated right away in the main dining area.

When we got seated, we were sat at a table in a back room away from the main restaurant with a large party in there. This was strange to us because we were told a party was leaving but nobody had left in the time we got seated. This back room had a party of 14 seated there and this is where things went south. That party was so loud it was migraine inducing, we couldn't even hear ourselves talk causing us to sit and struggle to have a conversation and enjoy our dinner. It's hard to believe this was not done intentionally given other tables being open in the main restaurant and another party being seated before us who arrived after us. The poor waitress did her best managing such a large party and ours but inevitably service fell short. No fault of her own.

The food was delicious and we enjoyed it. I may possibly give it another try, unsure at the moment. I really don't want to think the vibe and horrible spot we got sat has anything to do with what we look like but that is what it seems like. Service here is POOR to say the least, if I could give no stars I would. On November 16th we booked for a party of 5, we ordered an appetizer that never came out after 30 minutes when the waitress came by to ask if we would like more drinks, I responded back that our appetizer would be nice, she stated she forgot about it, I get it things happen as I am also in the restaurant industry. I proceeded to order a cocktail, 20 minutes went by and it never came out. I went to the restroom and spotted our waitress sitting with a party of people as I came back to the table the waitress came by to ask if we needed more cocktails, I stated the one I ordered would of been nice but I canceled it at that point. We ordered entrees, I ordered a half beet salad with my spicy shrimp scampi, the waitress asked if I would like my salad first I clearly stated yes. My entree was delivered to the table in a timely manner but I never received my salad at all and stated my salad never came out the waitress said oh they brought your friends salad instead of yours out. Half way through my entree my salad was delivered. I was NOT happy with the service here at all. Myself and my girlfriends will not be returning, we spent a pretty penny to be waited on. Good was good, fries were excellent and hot, but not a lot of options for vegetarians. Service was ok, staff was really nice and personable but slow. We ordered water and drinks to start with while reading menus and didn’t get water until probably 15min later. You would ask for 2 things and get 1, and wait another 5-10min for anything additional, one at a time.

It was cool seeing in the kitchen thru the glass including the chef, but also saw service staff standing around and some on their phone.

Atmosphere was nice, place looked new and cool. I heard it used to be a different restaurant but at the time it was new when we visited in Dec 2023.
