I loved it, first i will say, I was raised on the border of the US and Mexico. I also lived in Central America for several years so I'm not an expert but I know what I like and this place, me gusta muy mucho! I had the Momia Burrito con carnitas. It was so good, the carnitas were cooked perfectly! For those who don't know, carnitas are simular to an American pork loin, a slow cooked pork dish. When served in a burrito should be meaty, not dry and not super greasy, and definitely not soaked in mole, salsa Rojo, or grease. They should not soak through your tortilla. I only write this because someone said they were not good, and I disagree! Someone also said not authentic, based on what? Tourism? Guadalajara? Uncle Billy's taco truck? There are several states in Mexico and every one has a different way of cooking, just like North Carolina BBQ vs Memphis Tennessee. Needless to say I loved the food. The bean dip cooked with grase tocino! Yum! was so good, so fresh as was all the food. I would go out of my way to eat here again. I don't usually post pictures of the end of my food but I was so impressed with the quality I had to show that there was meat from start to finish! Please enjoy this restaurant as I did! Thank you primos! me gusta mucho! Oh, the mixed drinks are made fresh, not store bought mixers,#Mexicanmule!

First time visit to this restaurant. Came here for a work meeting and we were seated in the side room. The food is delicious! We received a basket of chips with tomatillo salsa and a black bean dip. The chips were crunchy and nicely salted while the salsa and bean dip were tasty. The bean dip is addicting delicious. For my entree, I had a tostada salad with pastor. The lettuce was a nice spring mix with lots of frisee, atop a crispy tostado with rice, black beans, and lots of pastor meat. This was a satisfying meal as it was a huge portion. I could only eat half of it. Our server was very friendly and did an excellent job serving our large group of 16 people. I'm happy to have been introduced to this restaurant and can't wait to return!

The queso fundido that we had as app just didn't work as a dip for the chips. The steak was good. But cheese had some areas were it got burnt and others not so melted. Just hard to eat with out making a mess. The Molcajete we had with chicken and beef was good. She had the blackberry margaritas was on the wrong side. Needs to be served in a taller glass. Pricey for the size you get. I'd go back.

My husband and I went to try this spot for our anniversary dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant is located in a very tranquil location. Staff was welcoming as soon as we walked in and throughout our dinner. I ordered the special Elderberry Mojito and while it was good it missed pouring the elderberry flavor. My husband ordered a beer on tap and he said it was crisp and nicely chilled. They offer complimentary chips, refried black beans and salsa. These offerings are not common in many locations and it was all tasty and the chips were addicting as they were thin and crispy. Food: My husband ordered a molcajete with the combination of meats (including shrimp) and accompanied by rice, beans and tortillas. I ordered camarrones ala diabla (Shrimp with spicy red sauce) and accompanied with rice and black beans. I also ordered the mango loco salad with the house dressing. The food was more than well portioned for the price and the food had so much FLAVOR my husband and I were more than impressed. The atmosphere was chill not busy but it had a nice crowd spread out. The interior of the restaurant was very clean and staff was quick to clean up tables. For any locals or surrounding areas you want authentic mexican food and great drinks for a date night this...
