Unless you're from the area chances are you'd pass this place without a second glance. With the looks of an old railway car it really is a quaint place to stop and have breakfast or lunch. Full of local paraphernalia and pictures, this establishment has been there for almost as long as Rittman itself. The staff is fantastic, the waitresses are polite and knowledgeable of the entire menu as most have worked there for many years.. The portions are fantastic and won't leave you hungry, choices of breakfast food range from your basic pancake to in-house specials like "The Conductor" which is a giant sausage patty over sourdough bread with egg and covered in sausage gravy which has never left this patron dissatisfied. Lunchtime specials include burgers, wraps and other sandwiches but don't expect to catch dinner here as most days they are closed by 3 p.m. The Depot is one of those small town gems that most people only hear about from friends in the area and while busy the wait is never too long.. Breakfast is served all day and the prices are ridiculously cheap. If you don't have time to stop in and sit for a while they will also make your food to go with just a phone call ahead to place the order or a few minutes of waiting while...

Folksy charm with train memorabilia and old photographs. š
