For some reason, the employees at Rittman Subway cannot get our orders correct, the last four times something has had ingredients left off or the sandwich was a total mess. Today I paid extra for avocado and tipped more than four dollars; there was no avocado and barely any toppings. The last time we ordered here, three out of our four sandwiches were completely messed up, and my kids BLT had bacon that wasn’t even warmed up, let alone crispy, and while I understand the bacon comes cooked-no one wants gooey cold bacon. The manager had the audacity to suggest that warming the bacon is an “option” in her words, as though anyone with half a brain cell would look at that raw-appearing bacon and think it was acceptable to put on a sandwich. I’m not sure how difficult it is to read the orders, but it seems perhaps it’s not worth the trouble for the sandwich “artists” at the Rittman location. Suffice it to say, the incompetence is astounding and I question how the food safety standards are being met if simple orders are consistently being made incorrectly. Avoid this location...
Read moreI ordered 3 sandwiches from my subway app. I went into the store and they told me they were out of a few ingredients and couldn't make me sandwiches, but that I could get substitutes for the same price. I asked if I could pay the difference if I ordered a sub that was $1 more. I was told that they would charge me $3 more because of "inventory". So I'm paying $3 more for a sandwich that only cost $1 more? I don't think so. I then ask for a refund. She told me that she doesn't know how to void the transaction and can't refund me. I asked to speak to the manager I was then told there really wasn't one, but she'll call the owner or just leave a note and he'll get to it whenever he can make it in. I told her that was unacceptable to please contact the owner. She did and was sent to voice mail. I've NEVER been to a restaurant that couldn't fulfill my ALREADY PAID for order because they were out of items and wouldnt either refund the customer or replace with another item. Read moreThis location as well as orrville location (same owner) only subways in the area that do not accept any coupon with the word free on it. No free cookie with any purchase. No free chips with footlong. No buy one footlong and drink get a footlong free. Not even the buy 2 footlongs get a third free. If it's free it's out of the question. With how expensive subway is this officially makes these locations out of the question for me when deciding where to eat.
*edit as of June 2nd 2025 cheap owner will not accept ANY coupons at this location and has disabled the ability to even use the codes on the codes on the app. Subway is not worth almost 11 dollars a sub. This...
