Pizza Plus — Restaurant in Riverbank

Being a small business owner in Riverbank myself, I often find myself hungry at lunch time in the city of action with limited options that are both high quality food and consistent service that AREN'T a chain... but every time Pizza Plus comes through as a shining light of tasty food and fresh ingredients.

While yes, their pizza is always delicious, made to order and has a great crust to sauce to toppings ratio, my go to favorite lately has been the pastrami sandwich with the tasty fries and fountain drink.

They have fabulous lunch specials, their call ahead customer services is great and efficient and we love that they have plenty of space for those times when we need to having a working lunch.

Whether you're a local or passing through Riverbank, Pizza Plus is a must-try destination for food enthusiasts. It's clear why they've earned their decades long reputation for go to pizza eateries, and I can confidently say that I'll be back for more of their fabulous dishes. Bravo, Pizza Plus, for exceeding my expectations and creating an unforgettable dining experience...

We arrived at 7: 50 pm. placed an order for pizza then did a separate order for salad as I changed my mind, HUGE mistake. It was empty and they could have told me that before they charged me $10. 00. Regardless they made no attempt to refill anything. There was buts and pieces. Then, I asked the gentleman if I can have cheese and not that he had a problem what so ever, but he previously rang someone before my request since the salad bar was empty and goes straight to the pizza station with my salad in hand, grabs a handful of cheese and spreads it all over my salad. They worked next to him glancing with also disgust. I’m disgusted. I mean thats the first you learn as a food service handler. Let alone in culinary school— that’s a hell NO. We usually go to Hilmar since it’s close to home about 10 min, but decided to try this location out or falcon lair, it was definitely not worth the drive. Wished I’d gone to their other restaurant Falcon Lair that would have been a better...

OK. 5 stars on food and friendly staff. Great pizza, great wings, good selection of drafts, and reasonable prices. But please, allow me one bit of constructive criticism..... the acoustics of your building are awful. Both the main room and the side room are severe echo chambers. Maybe it's the curved roof, or the cement walls, but it becomes intolerable when even at half capacity. At a certain point, it gets so loud from people trying to speak over the noise, that you end up unable to have a conversation across your own table. We were in the side room and there was one other family in there. The two conversations started colliding. It was so noticeable that the conversation turned to acoustics and what could be done about it. We suggest: foam acoustic panels on the ceiling. And more art on the walls. Maybe some hanging rugs or large canvas prints to absorb some sound. I know it sounds like a petty complaint, but it definitely affects our inclination to use this...
