La Flor De Puebla Bakery — Restaurant in Riverdale Park

I’m usually a friendly person to everyone no matter the race, however today I stopped by the bakery to grab a small cake & some bread(bolillos) I patiently waited to be helped & when called I kindly asked for a cake in the fridge up front which one lady asked which one & I said the ones all the way to the right on the left small chocolate one simple & went on to ask for my bag to put some bread in. Grabbed my bread went up to the counter & the lady still hadn’t put my cake in a box even helped other people while I continued to wait even though I was there first & even bagged their bread (bolillos). I don’t know why the service was better with the other people than me I then waited about 5 min & when I was next she had a nasty attitude rolling her eyes & just being annoyed. Not sure if she was on her period or don’t get paid enough not my problem but I think people should be treated fair because I love coming to this bakery & that lady was just not being a good employee with her customers. I will gladly look for another bakery & seek good customer service elsewhere. I don’t see why the attitude when all I asked was for a cake I was Purchasing not stealing this experience has totally shocked me on how it be at jobs like it was 3 ladies working there I get it they’re busy doing other stuff I didn’t mind waiting but just the way I waited then waited more cause other people arrived & the one lady that helped me took her sweet time. Blown away by the quality of the pastries at this bakery. I was looking to make a quick stop before going to my in laws, so I went there and bought pastries, I was expecting a high bill and boom for 8 pastries I paid about $9 ! Let me tell you how shocked I was! I thought it was a prank or a joke.

Its super affordable , staff was nice and helpful. The only downside is that a box is $3 which is a lot . But i truly enjoyed the pastries with my family.

Quiet, hole in the wall. My mechanic suggested this place and told me to get their Semitas or torta. As I am not hispanic, I asked for help and the young lady was patient and helped me out. It was a 10/10 for customer service. The torta was yummy, not packed like im used to but still good. It was too late for the semitas but I may have to come back for it since he was adamant that I try it. It is a bakery. I don't eat sweets but maybe I will try one next time. Love their spiritual statues as well. My rating is only low because of the sandwich presentation and it not being fulfilling for the price. The lighting is a little dim also which is not...
