PLEASE DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS ! I attempted to eat here for lunch which is 30 minutes away. Me being a a new Yelp Elite, I've been trying new and different places. This was a mistake. I called in my order so that the food would be ready when I got there since it its 10 mins away. I ordered the Gyro lunch special, it looks like they just had some type of marketing done by Issac L. on their page 10/27/17. Everything looks delicious online. Good job with that. Being from up North I know how a Gyro should be made. I asked for extra sauce anticipating the taste. When I arrived the cashier stated that the cooks misunderstood and put the sauce on the side. He asked was this okay. I responded , "Do I have a choice ?!" He stated not really. Reviewing my order I notice there is only 4 skinny thin pieces of meat. One piece for each side of the bread. It was loaded with veggies to camouflage the lack of meat. Being unsatisfied I asked for wings instead. The cashier went to get his manager who really didn't care. They had my money so I guess it was okay to rip me off after I paid my hard earned money on this food and drove out of my way to give them a try. The manager stated I called in so I could not change it. I told her there was only 4 pieces of meat and this was unacceptable. She said there is 6 pieces of meat on there. I asked where? She just kept saying right there. I took the food upset and left. Once in the car I decided she need to at least fix the mistake and give me the extra two pieces that she swore comes with the order. I approached the cashier about the additional meat. When the cashier took the food back the cook stated only 4 pieces comes with the order. The manager got sooo upset and said, "If she wants her money back just give her the money back!" All I asked for in the beginning was for chicken instead of the sandwich. Stop trying to rip people off and have some type of customer service. I got my money back and left without food, and wasted my entire lunch break. I would recommend making sure you have quality servings and please your paying customers.If it wasn't for us you wouldn't be able to have a business, employees, or means to pay your bills. Read moreI’ve been going here for a year. They went from getting the highest of praises to now I’m noticing a decline. And this all pertains to the food. They used to have fresh large wings and fries. Now I’ve noticed the fries seem different in size (not quantity) and don’t have that same crunch as before. Wings taste better once complimented by the fries. But the BIGGEST issue is their wings are shrinking, and their honey hot doesn’t have as good of a mixture as it used to. I used to lick the plate clean now it’s more spice and less honey. And the wings are SHRINKING. I left AJ’s fish and wings because of this off Tara. Don’t turn into AJ’s and American deli style wing spot. I guarantee you will lose consumers. I will be back hoping this is fixed. Read your reviews.
3 star down to 2 star review. They were doing good rectifying the issue for about 2 months. Came in on A Saturday at 12:30PM (the start of the day) and back to the BS. Small wings again and the fries were different. Lol, this is strike 2. Strike 3 and imma stop recommending friends and family to go here. Wings are smaller than my pinky and no wider than a quarter. And when I walk and y’all show me the meal, if it’s small imma send it back and ask for larger wings.
If you only have small wings in stock, let the customer know before we pay 12 dollars for a 5 dollar meal.

Read moreI ordered the chicken Philly and 6 piece wings. I typically go about 3 times per month. On most occasions recently the food has been top notch. Unfortunately, they aren't consistent. The last Philly wasn't up to par. My favorites are the wings. Again, I stopped ordering them last year because they either switched the recipe or just were being inconsistent.
For the record, they aren't cheap. That's ok if you're going to consistently provide a great product. It's not ok when I pay a premium and get what tasted like $7 wings instead of the $11 I paid.
Lastly, they've raised prices twice in the last three months. I used to pay just under $13 for the Philly and wing combo. It jumped to $14.57 a couple of months back. Two days ago I paid $16 and some change for the same thing. And yes, this was when they butchered my Philly. Good luck in your business, but I won't pay increased prices for inconsistent and occasionally failing product.
