China Garden — Restaurant in Riverside Township

I just ordered some wonton soup, shrimp eggrolls, boneless ribs, and pork fried rice, and my husband and I believe this is the best Chinese food that we have had in a long time. There’s nothing spectacular about it except that it’s great Chinese food and lately the restaurants have been cutting back on the ingredients in the pork fried rice so that you don’t see any pork or anything other than rice. The pork fried rice is loaded with good stuff, It is delicious. There was plenty of delicious ribs, and the wonton soup was delicious and hot. We were promised delivery in 30 minutes and we received it in 30 minutes. I was looking at some of those other reviews and I think a couple of them were phony and I reported them. The owners are running a decent restaurant and preparing good food and I dislike when people file false reviews. We live in Delanco and the food came hot from Riverside. I've ordered from here for 10 years. The food has always been decent with fast delivery service. I've recently went into the restaurant to dine, there was flies, moths, and small weird beetles flying around the store. It was around 80 degrees outside, but around 100 degrees in the store. My family and I where sweating profusely the entire time while we ate. When we finished eating i stood up to throw away our trash and saw ants all over my shoes, i looked down to see an old piece of food under the table with thousands of ants all over it and crawling up mine and my sons shoes. The situation only made worse by the fact that the woman who worked behind the counter also cooked the food and she didn't wash her hands between handling money and food. She was in the store with her 5 year old daughter behind the counter. Every costumer who came in while I was there, which was around 10 people, she would make extremely rude and vulgar comments about them in Mandarin...

I want to like this place, but comparing to other Chinese food restaurants, it's not the greatest. I love the scallion pancakes, and not all restaurants make it. This place did and I was disappointed. It was burnt. Every last one v them. They were also soggy. I've had buttery, flaky, not burnt scallion pancakes. They also put the boneless ribs on a bed v lettuce and that irked my entire soul. Why? What's the point? Who said that was okay? That extra bbq sauce is used to mix with the rice, now I have watery bbq sauce and unwanted pieces v lettuce on my ribs. The rib sauce does taste different but it's not horrible. The fried rice is okay but it's missing something. At the compared restaurants, I can put just duck sauce and the rice is good. China Garden fried rice, I had to add seasoning and duck sauce. I'll give another chance, but I don't mind driving a few miles out the way for...
