Noah's Donut Shop — Restaurant in Riverside Township

Happy to note they are actually open when they say they are (unlike Winchell's), so I went in at 4:15 am. Was kindly greeted. I had not slept yet and needed 1 DZ donuts by 5 am for a last minute birthday surprise for my daughter, who loves donuts. Winchells employees are rude- so I rushed to Noa's. I did note earlier, in a comment, that they only take cash, which is why I didn't come here first, but I forgot in the heat of the moment. Saw the cash only note and freaked out bc I was exhausted.

I scavaged $11 from my car, and hoped it was enough. I let the lady who greeted me know I had $11, and she gave me 1 Dz donuts and an apple fritter, plus change back. I didn't get to try the donuts, but the fritter is good cold, 2 days later, and our guests ate multiple donuts each, so I assume they were good enough for seconds. I will definitely be giving Noa's another shot and make the time to grab cash, simply bc they 1) have a good apple fritter for sure, 2) are nice to you, and 3) are...

I was a first time customer this morning (the one with the pink fuzzies on lol) I bought a dozen of varieties for my husband and his work buddies; an empanada for me along with a strawberry filled and then a cake coconut (which i haven’t eaten YET) ... Everyone loved them!!! The sausage empanada was excellent also!!! Mrs. Noah was awesome and patient as she described each and every flavor available!!! They are the nicest people I've ever met! They are so friendly and accommodating. They have a great selection but get in early before they run out, they are that good!

My family and I stopped in for the first time years ago before a vacation trip and didn't make it back in again for over a year. When we did finally make it back in she remembered us and asked how our vacation had gone. Now that's paying attention to your customers!

The one and only less than perfect thing I can say about them is they only take cash.
