Amazing and Delicious Food! Let me start off with WOW! The store front is non-descript, but this is fine Indian cuisine. We ordered several appetizers and different types of naan, plus a few entrees to share. The flavors were complex, varied, delicate and well balanced. Everything cooked to perfection. Portions were very plentiful. Prices are reasonable for what you're getting! Service was helpful and attentive. The dining room is new and clean, but sparse as they're still installing a new lunch buffet, opening soon. Excited to try that out! This is a must go to restaurant. I called in a pick-up order this evening. It was my first time trying this place and it was absolutely delicious! I used to patronize Punjab Palace when they were located nearby on Magnolia & Tyler. I haven’t been able to find a place just as good…until now! Yay I found a new spot. I ordered goat vindaloo and aloo Gobi (cauliflower). Well I actually ordered lamb vindaloo and baingan bharta (eggplant) but I was called back a few minutes later and told that they were out of lamb and that they did not have the eggplant dish. Oh well I’ll try those dishes next time. I was also disappointed that the portion sizes were a bit small for the price and they did not come with rice. I had to pay for the rice separate. Went to lunch to try their buffet. We had a coupon for buffet lunch for $14.99 /person. The coupon was current and doesn't expire until November 3. The lady who greeted us told us that the buffet was now $19.99 because they added more food. I told her about the coupon and she refused to honor it. I told her we were going to leave and go to a different Indian restaurant, and she agreed to let one of us use the coupon but the other person had to pay $19.99. I told her we were leaving then she said she would get her manager. By this point I did not even want to eat there. I will never go back to this restaurant. Very poor management.
