Great idea, not so great execution. We really liked the idea of indoor minigolf but in fact it wasn't very enjoyable. And expensive for what it was. Yes, great to be indoors on a hot day (it's in the mall basement). But: Black light + loud music means 2 of your 5 senses are a little impeded. Not great for seniors (2 in our group), or anyone hard of hearing. I found that element of the experience just kind of irritating: we had to yell to communicate, so it wasn't relaxing the way minigolf usually is. My school aged kids both complained the lighting gave them headaches. Understood that ADA requires breaks in the borders around the holes for accessibility, but this removes an essential element of minigolf. Key parts of the wall are unavailable to use as a bumper to hit your ball in. And be prepared for members of your group to act as backstops in those breaks in the wall, or for your errant balls to bang into others' field of play. Agree with others that course was generally monotonous, and yet where they did try to make it harder it was extremely hard. For 2 holes, the structures that you had to hit the ball thru were so badly maintained that you lost the ball in holes inside - unintended penalty. Also agree that timing for groups larger than about 4 was bad. Our group of 6 was constantly delaying those playing behind us. I think those playing on a weekday might have a better experience. It wasn't super crowded during our play, but it was a Sunday afternoon. Just FYI, it's a little hard to find. Best to park your car near Hughes Alley like you're entering the mall thru JC Penney, but enter GLO from the outside of the mall, to the left of Penneys, on the side...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible experience. I paid for me and my girlfriend for 25 minutes each on the VR game station they had for a total of 30 bucks. They set us up and turned it on but left us quick after without making sure the system was working properly. My VR kept me on loading screen and continuously kicking me back to the menu when I clicked on a game, and my girlfriend kept hearing a ringing noise that sopposeably the help ringer. The front desk was only I would say 20 feet from where the VR is and I called them over 2 times but It took me to walking to them to get their attention, eventhough they were ignoring the help button. They came and really only said keep trying and after 10 minutes of it not working right with again calling them back to again no responses, neither of us were not getting into a single game we decided to call it quits. I ask for a refund and the manager replyed they can't give me an refund for I used 10 minutes already. I argued how the system was not working for me and was giving my girlfriend a headache and that I was asking for assistance more than I was using the machine. I even said why would I pay for me being stuck on a menu screen . They didnt give me a refund and I am currently trying to reach the owner. Don't go to this place unless you want to be disrespected, outright robbed of your money and also be profoundly dumbfounded on how much hoops they will go through to not provide you with...
Read moreOnly thing worth going for is the black light mini golf... But other ppl rushing or intruding make it very unnerving and take away from fun.
Arcade games have a lot of busted ones and overpriced. The prizes you could win were pretty much trash especially for such a high price. 1 dollar was 4 tokens and the machines used decimal points . Like a machine is 4.2 and another Is 5.6. definitely felt cheated since I was left with 1.8 of tokens and nothing to use em on. Also very little selection, best was a racing game and the air hockey table which was 6.4 tokens...
VR games were very watered down versions of the full games. Outdated and not worth the high cost. 10 credits a run and the controller setup was not user friendly, much less handicap accessible.
Console games were outdated and also felt like a waste of space. Nobody using them and outdated library. You had to go erase some space if you wanted to create a file so no maintenance on those machines..
Lastly the prizes were pretty bogus for the items actual worth. Definitely wanted you to spend hundreds to get something higher quality. We had 20$ of credits and only...
