Mr. Blue's Donuts — Restaurant in Riverside

Mr. Blue’s Donuts is a running joke in our family. The donuts are fine. Mediocre, but not bad. However, we have been twice, and both times the cashier put extra donuts in our box AND CHARGED US FOR THEM. We ask for a dozen, we tell them which kinds we want, then they put in a couple of extras. The first time I thought it was strange (I also wasn’t sure they were extras until I counted when I got to the car) but figured they were being nice or something (I have had places throw in an extra for free “just because”), then I looked at my receipt once I got to the car because the total seemed high. Sure enough, I was charged for the extras that I didn’t even want! About 6 months later my husband went there (without consulting me, of course) and the exact thing happened to him. SUPER shady. I’ll pay you for what I want, but don’t sneak extra mediocre donuts on me and charge me for them without my permission. We don’t go here anymore. We avoid this place like we avoid places with...

Always a pleasure to get fresh donuts or a hot breakfast sandwich from Mr. Blue’s Donuts!! I live close, and their 24 hour shop is extremely convenient for whenever you get munchy for a sweet treat.
