Roasted Bean & Cuisine — Restaurant in Riverton

I just ran and got a take out order of the smoked salmon salad which I have to say is absolutely wonderful definitely something to order again. Also along with that while I was waiting and because it was my birthday I ordered a Raspberry Moscow Mule, if you’re a mule drinker it was a bit strong. I realize that there are some variations to the mule, and maybe that was the case here. The drink was served with no garnish at least the lime. Mint is another option, though not always easily found at our local markets or having shipped. Frozen Raspberries were there and yes that’s part of the drink, keeping it cool while adding life and vibrance to its appearance. Someone did come out and ask me about it and they were very nice and friendly. The menu is enticing and the food I did get was wonderful. However because I wasn’t completely thrilled with the drink There were comments being made by the staff that I could hear, it was Very uncomfortable for me so I left. Normally we have a good time at the roasted bean but today was really irritating and stressful. We waited at least an hour and watched everyone else get their food and we kept waiting and waiting finally the waitress comes by and said it will be another ten minutes on top of waiting an hour so it took all together an hour and at least 15 minutes to get our food today. I asked to get it to go so it would be faster and because I was very hungry and tired of waiting for food to eat when everyone else seemed to get served but us. My kid started crying because he was so hungry and I was so hungry my stomach was starting to hurt and upset it took so long just to get a burger and a cup of soup. We stopped here for lunch and for dinner later the same night. We came on a recommendation from one of the locals that we were working with. The restaurant itself is not that large, so make sure to come early if you want a seat.

The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about all the items on the menu. Up to this point, we had been pretty disappointed with the food so far in Riverton.
