Mostly patronized by locals. Prices are very reasonable. Carolina Friendly staff. Food is more like soul-food and many dishes are tasty. Outsiders and City Folks ... You must appreciate the history and culture should you decide to dine in. Otherwise go through the drive-thru because you may feel like you walked into a shoe box. The building is dated and seating is limited. Place opens early and close at 2:30 pm. I have tried many dishes from the establishment. Certain things are cooked to order... so indeed be patient if you are ordering fish or pork-chop. Space reminds you of a take-out Chinese restaurant with limited seating yet with a soul-food menu. I highly recommend the bacon, cheese-n-eggs on toast. There is no public bathroom inside the building. The bathroom is accessed from the exterior and I have not checked it out. Food was good. Took forever to get our food I ordered once order was placed but they took my order as soon as I came in the door.it was a little after 12 and they had a lunch time rush. They were running out of different sides and pork chops were still frozen so weren't ready to be cooked....all things I heard and observed while waiting. Things seemed a little chaotic, like the drive thru speaker was not working properly causing a little difficulty for the employee and the drive through customers. But overall the food was good home cooking for a decent price which is hard to come by in this town. We will eat here...

First visit was good food was delicious it was breakfast ! Went today for lunch food was not so good.. Burger was not seasoned at all. Fries were soggy and cooked in old grease tasted like other food that was cooked previously in the grease.. For the long wait in line figured food would be hoy and delicious but pork chops were dry and cold. Slaw was watery. None of the food was seasoned and navy beans tasted like they were just poured out of a can and heated in the microwave.. Wont go back such a...
