This was my first time visiting. The line was at the door when we walked in at 930am on Saturday morning. The line went fast, our order was taken and service was great. I got the gravy bowl and cinnamon hazelnut coffee. My husband got the breakfast bagel. Our order took about 10 minutes which isn't bad for a Saturday morning. Plenty of seating for us to sit. The bell at the front door is annoying but the food is pretty great. The hashbrown is crispy but not burnt, gravy and egg is really good and the price is comparable to what yoh would pay at a fast food restaurant. The restaurant is clean and the set up is great. Overall happy with our experience and will be back to try the lunch menu.

Swung by to order some bagels after all I've heard online about this place. I got an Asiago bagel and look at how much cream cheese comes with!! My husband got a breakfast sandwich. Our meal even came with an extra donut thing in the bag to try. Everything was delicious, the bagel has a homemade flavor almost kinda tastes like pizza dough seasonings. I did learn not to wait in the drive thru line though! A Saturday morning took 20-30 minutes of waiting, the staff were super nice I'll just make sure to order ahead online and pickup in store next time 🙂‍↕️

Daleville location is great, but they have not leveled up their operations to serve Roanoke’s larger market: - coffee game is weak: non-flavored coffee is almost always out - wait times are loooooong - bagel quality day-to-day is varied - this chair (photo) has been broken for over a month. They have plenty of staff, but still can’t keep up — we’ll go back to the Daleville location moving forward.

This is not my first review of Donnie D’s I loved the Daleville location since the day they opened and have been a regular since,i have told many that its the closest to a NY bagel you will find in the whole valley.now there’s new location may give alittle slack being they just opened my first visit on 12/15/2024 at 9:00 am after Sunday mass, first would like to know where the salt on an everything bagel went and i dont think an asiago bagel should have about a tablespoon of cheese only in the center of the bagel making you guess what it is not the way it has always been, the breakfast sandwiches the wife and i had were good they did come to the table pretty fast.now for some of the things i noticed that should be much better having only 2 registers and people disappearing from time to time and one too make coffee because 2 were empty, one person breaking down a slicer the a woman spending 35 minutes cleaning it left me shaking my head, now for the worst part being a native new yorker been here 25 years having a line out the door in the rain and watched people walk away and witnessed a couple in the middle of the line wait 13 minutes just to get in the door is insane maybe thats a dedicated customer but not what i think is a good thing and only got worst when the drive thru opened.Im really sorry to post like this it pains me to say i love this place used to feel like a NYC bagel place but its disappointing.may have to give it another try im not one to walk away that easy i know how well it was dine...

First things first, 11:30 on a Saturday, about 4 folks in front of us. Lady in a chair took our order, gave her the 66.00 for 4 bagels and two drinks 2 waters. and about 28 minutes later...out comes the bagels. Mine was OK, I was expecting a little better for the Italian on my 3rd choice of bagel (didn't have the first two I asked for). Although completely dripping of oil and vinegar, wasn't bad. The other three were sadly disappointed in the toughness of the bagels along with the lack of flavor and bagel options available vs. menu but I think the worst for us...the noise. SOFA KING loud in here. Staffing must still be an issue but I'll give them a few months to get acclimated to this side of town before we try again. I can use that time to save up enough money to eat here again! In all seriousness, don't let this sway your chance at a good bagel, this is my opinion based on my first visit to this location but give them a chance and formulate your own. Just make sure you have your AMX, Visa or...

Never again!! Watch your bill. Had a few bagels yesterday, one was 2.55 and one was 2.65. Got the exact same thing this morning and the bagel that was 2.65 was now 2.95. There were NO bagels up on the menu that were 2.95. We asked why and the cashier was new (so she claimed) but when calling over a manager, she stood there looked at the register and said, we have no control over the price. When looking at the menu and seeing the price should have been 2.65, we were totally blown off. No one with any intelligence here and by no means do they care about customers. 30 cents, and being blown off blew me out for ever. Watch your bills, I'm guessing they are still trying to pay for the fire, would just be nice not to screw...
