I rarely dine in when craving one of Subway's terrific sub sandwiches, but prefer to pick it up. The interior is clean, but for some reason, the prospect of sitting in a booth and eating is not very exciting. Reader beware, however -- my hesitancy to stay there and have a meal may be due to some strange personal quirk. I have gone in to order and found many people dining in, so clearly, my pick-up preference is not universal.
Your "cook" behind the counter is usually very nice and willing to help you make your way through an order, but I don't feel that management (or the company) spends a great deal of time training employees the value of above average customer service.
Fountain drinks are good, but something in a bottle is usually better.
Subway's new menu is excellent, and if you are like me, you will find staff happy to prepare an older menu favorite for you. ( Mine is the tuna on the herb and cheese bread, with a liberal serving of spinach, tomatoes, onion, and banana peppers! )
Always tempting and never disappointing is their selection of soft, large cookies for a perfect finish to a great sub.
If you aren't far from home or are traveling with a cooler, go ahead and order a 12" sub. It will come cut in two, and you can enjoy one half immediately, and the other will keep for later.
Their large yellow signs with "Subway" in green are easily seen from the highway (if traveling) or just...
Read moreI eat at Subway about once a week but I haven’t been to this one in years. And they have proved again why I quit going years ago, I thought maybe it would be different being so long ago. This is the absolute worst Subway in the area. The person at the window had to come back three times asking our order for two subs apparently and when the food was brought back home both of them were all mixed up. Not only that but the bread was completely stale and old which is a big reason I quit going to begin with. I picked off what wasn’t supposed to be there, which my partner couldn’t even do bc he cannot stand mayonnaise and tomato. I took one bite and felt like I was going to throw up. The turkey was so old it had that nasty old deli meat taste that won’t leave your mouth, like when you leave deli meat in the fridge for a long time and it starts developing that kind of white film/ice crystals on it, and of course the cookies were almost as hard as a rock too. Complete waste of money. Otw to try to get our money back, wish me luck as I’m almost positive their customer service will probably be horrible too and will probably get nothing back...
Read moreWe placed a curbside pickup order. Waited in our car for 20 minutes, then decided to get out and go in. The associate was bringing it out as we were coming in. We said thank you, went back to the car. I checked the bag and it was missing an entire sandwich. We walked back to the store and before we could go in, the associate came out and very rudely said "what do yall need?" I said "It's missing a sandwich." To which she cut me off and immediately said no, it's in the bag. I showed her the bag and the receipt. I work retail and my partner works in a kitchen. There's no reason for her attitude. She brought the forgotten sandwich back out and gave a very sarcastic thumbs up and said "Here ya go." When we went back to the car, the missing sandwich was haphazardly thrown in to a bag. Both of the sandwiches were not completed correctly. This is the first time I've gone to this subway but will not be returning. We don't care about a refund, but please try to get your orders correctly made and be kind when your customers are being kind even though it was...
