I was new to the area and wanted to find a Catholic Church to join. I was drawn to this beautiful Gothic style Church whose spires I could see from my house. I attended a 5:30 PM Mass. The beautiful interior and the familiar feeling of a "Presence" was there. The Crucifix above the altar, got my attention. I decided St. Andrews possessed all the important "accoutrements" that I had found important over the years to fulfill my expectations of the Catholic Mass. Of the cruciform churches I have personally visited, its shape manages to enhance the experience of those who notice its form without taking away the functionality of the space. Read moreBeautiful place & kind people BUT, I wish they preached GOD'S Word & His definitions of a Christian, instead of their own. SHOCKED to hear them state in their service that John 3:3 Christians were explicitly NOT welcome to take communion. Then they only did HALF of what Christ commanded in 1 Corinthians 11:25 (which all Christians are to do in remembrance of Christ).
I pray that congregation reads the Word of God for themselves, and upholds it to a proper & higher authority, than what any person or man made...
