I went to the Robertsdale Alabama store. It was dead. A couple of cars pulled up behind me. I had already been waiting about 20 minutes for the 2 cars in front of me. When I finally got to the windo after ordering online, my fries were luke warm. I thought that was the hold up, fresh fries. So I asked for fresh fries and they of course had me pull up. The others will be mad I'm sure once they get home to luke warm fries as long as we waited. I won't be returning!! McDonald's have really let America down! It's hard enough to go out to eat these days with these extremely priced suppose to be dollar menu items, now they're 3 and 4 dollar items. But when you do get to treat yourself you want good quality food. McDonald's going to keep on until they're bankrupt. People are going elsewhere because of the reputation McDonald's have. It seems to be almost everywhere, they either getting your food wrong or it's cold. And when people are faithful enough to pay 3 to 4 dollars for a sandwich that used to be a dollar. The quality should be there. And I ordered the Big Mac. You can't even add big Mac sauce to a regular burger on the app. So if you use the app you have to order the big Mac. I already couldn't believe what a ghost town McDonald's was. I was actually shocked to see people across the street at Sonic and Burger King. And their lines were moving. The dining hall was closed at McDonald's and the service was still appalling. I'm the only one left in my house that even eats McDonald's. It used to be my favorite, but now I know why my household don't eat there anymore and why it takes me so long to go. The fries are the reason, and they give them to you luke warm or cold. And barely put anything in the fry sleeve. It's ridiculous!! I'm very disappointed!! And I know you're not going to do anything about it. But when those pockets start thinning out and you have to close some stores like Hardee's and Burger King. Maybe you'll value your customers again! I don't think I'll ever go back.    Read moreThis was probably the most âinterestingâ experience Iâve had at a McDonaldâs. I walked in and their Air conditioning was out so it felt like it was 80+ degrees in there which I donât wanna ding them on that, however it looked like they blew their budget on commercial fans to âcoolâ down the place but that was whatever. I walk up to the kiosk while also trying to pull up the McDonaldâs app to get some points when I worker asked me what I was doing. I responded with I was trying to get my app up to get the points when she then asked if I was paying cash or card. I said with card. She then walked away. I was puzzled because there was about a 3-5 second pause in her response but whatever. I ordered my food and I always get the quarter pounder with cheese and it did take a little longer then usually but I was fine with it. While I was waiting I was standing up by the counter where you pick up your food just watching their the workers making the food in the back when I saw a few workers huddle around a return order from the drive through. One worker proceeded to use her bare hands to take apart the sandwich throw away the cheese and then place it back in the bag and send it to the customer. Then she went to wash her hands. Kinda thought that was gross but oh well. Anyways I received my food burger was burnt and dry. Fryâs were fresh. I got 6 chicken nuggets instead of 4 and 2 cookies instead of 1 I did not want to send it back since it looked like they were doing whatever back there. While I was eating a worker I guess was on his break sat down in the dining room with his friends and they starting vaping in the middle of the dining area. So needless to say I probably will not be returning at this location and hope higher management will do something regarding this as for my experience it was an awkward Wild West...
   Read moreFirst I want to say I try not to go to this mcdonalds bc we are almost always let down but its always so easy to leave a bad review and hardly anyone takes the time to leave a good one so today thats what im doing. I want to commend how well they handled my family today with all the different things we asked for. Most important one being the carmel frappe my boys and I were extremly excited about. At first I was told no they can't substitute bc the machine was down so we ordered sprites. However, upon arriving at the window, I was told that the machine had just gotten cleaned up and if I wanted to wait a few minutes they would bring them to me. I do believe some of this also has to do with how we treat others and if we're polite and greatful no matter what then it makes it easier on these people who deal with kids and jerks all day to recieve that energy and reciprocate it. So I definitely want to thank Jason for taking the time to clean and put the machine back to together for my family bc it really made our night!
However, the food is and will probably always be mediocre and lukewarm but we know that going into it. I can't give a review on how the atmosphere looked on the inside but I can say from the outside everything was picked up, seamed tidy and everyone we saw had smiles on their faces! So were thankful for today's experience and due to this I will go back sooner than later!! Im going to leave a review on the reciept for corporate to see as well bc it does matter alot to these workers when they get a pat on the back from time to time rather than always ridiculed!
