Wendy's — Restaurant in Robertsdale

Update: I wanted to post an update on my prior review. I avoided eating here for several months but you dont have alot of other fast food choices in Robertsdale. So I can't say I've had any horrible experiences with employees or the quality of food since my last review. Fries are usually hot and people nice. Tonight I ordered and paid for a full size taco salad. Well I get a small (very small) barely warm cup of chili and no chips. I'm including a picture of the tomatoes and salad. This is all that was in the salad and tomato pieces are actually just the ends that you cut off and throw away. In the salad, there are chunks of the center of lettuce head that is too hard to eat and brown, wilted chunks of lettuce. I ended up just tossing the whole thing. I just paid $6.50 to eat garbage.. I'm done with Wendy's.

I come to this Wendy's a few times a week and after last night I wont be back. Pulled into the drive-thru at 940. There were 2 cars in front of us and were pulling forward to pay and get their food. We waited for 12 minutes for someone to take our order and watched a male walk around at the second window, look at us a few times and walk away. At 9:52, we pulled to the second window. A female opened it after looking at us for a few seconds and realizing we werent leaving. She asked if someone had taken our order. We told her no and said we had been waiting 10 minutes. She looked the male who normally works the first window and then looks at us and said "Well, hes not taking orders anymore". I asked them if they closed at 10 and she said yes but we arent taking any orders. All lights inside and out were still on. Also, I dont have a problem if a male wants to identify himself as a female and wear makeup. However, I do feel like he should adhere to the same guidelines as any other female would and I've never in my life seen a woman wearing even near the amount he had on. This is a place of business and a certain level of professionalism should be shown and both his appearance and behavior do not in any way reflect this. Went to the Robertsdale Wendy’s on September 17 my card was charged twice for $5.99 I didn’t receive a receipt and I almost drove off without them giving me my card back ..I called the store to tell them about this double charge they gave me what a sounded like a rehearsed script about how I need to talk to their GM he knows how to explain what’s going on..so when I did talk to him he proceeds to tell me that because of some invisible bad weather I had no knowledge of that their systems was knocked off line and it’s charging people twice he told me out of his 25 years working with Wendy’s the second charge always fall off.. so I believed him and the next day low and behold I was officially charged twice ..when I called the store again to tell them about the charge they gave me another scripted line to call the GM again🙄😤..so I did he PRETENDED he was shocked stating he never saw this happen in his 25 years and that they can’t give refunds in the store he has to call his finance department to investigate because some people “LIE” his words..than he tells me to text him proof I was charged twice which all I can show him was a bank statement because they didn’t give me a receipt and still to this date September 27 I heard nothing from him or the finance team of a refund..words of advise of you’re using a debit card check your bank statements especially if they don’t give you a receipt at this store because everything sounded scripted like they have done this to many people and know what to say and how to give you a run around ..the GM needs to be investigated sounds like some internal...

I was at this location at 10:30pm tonight and service appeared to be great certainly quick but once we arrived home we realized why......our burger and chicken sandwich were missing but a ton of condiments were dumped in the bag which we specifically declined when ordering so I drove back to the restaurant to get the bacon cheeseburger and chicken sandwich get back home and it's just a cheeseburger no bacon then they gave us spicy chicken nuggets and neither of us like spicy nuggets so basically it's my last stop here. The previous trip we got a veggie burger yeah no beef to be found but they don't actually serve veggie burgers on the menu so how do you make a burger on the line but close it up without putting a patty on one side? The problem always is the high school kids running the business with their lack of attention to detail management seems to be in the same boat. It isn't smart to let kids run your business in the ground because they will move onto the next job as do management but rest assured this is my absolute last experience with this...
