Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Robinson

The young lady at the window this morning was very rude! I asked for 2 butterflies to which she said we don’t do butterflies. I settled for bear claws, which had been purposely smashed at one end on both. I had also asked if they had chocolate cake donuts to which she said yes, so I got two. I get home and I have 2 regular, yellow cake donuts with chocolate icing? When did asking for a chocolate donut mean wanting a donut with chocolate icing? I also parked and went in to see if there were butterflies, because that is what we always get and there were 3 sitting on a tray where they always are! I just turned and walked out! I will start using the Shipley’s on Valley Mills. It isn’t much further for me...

I have been going here occasionally for over a year and I have yet to go here and find donuts that aren't hours old and fairly stale. For the operating hours of this business the selection and availability of donuts is abysmal. Whomever owns this store should be ashamed! Would you go to a burger place if they only cook a couple dozen patties very early in the morning then leave them on the rack for most of the day to dry out? no! Avoid this place unless you can get here around 5 or 6am. I once went in at 8am for "fresh" donuts and they just microwaved some that were 2 hours old and presented them as fresh. What kind of terrible service...

I have been here several times and have a few complaints. Some of the staff at drive thru are cranky and unfriendly. They dont give itemized receipts and seem to over charge sometimes. The receipt shows how much the total is not what all you were charged for. The last time I went there some young guy working drive thru did not give me everything I ordered but charged me for it. I did not notice til I was at work and couldn't go back to get them. Makes me wonder if they over charge and pocket the money. You people should show customers everything they are charged for not just...
