I really like the food here. But it seems quite expensive, for what it is. The chicken con molé that I got, that I've added a photo of here, was all but $19. It's very good, but that is very expensive if you are looking to feed a family at $20 a piece. That's with no drink or anything and a few fresh Tortilla Chips in the brown paper bag. They also use styrofoam takeout containers. The reason it is all on a plate is because the styrofoam container basically came open in the bag when we were walking home, and mole sauce was all over the inside of the bag. They add a charge for takeout, and the current incarnation of menufy that they seem to be having is inflexible and misleading. For example, it said I could add ONE 'extra' only, that was it -- and that included either paying extra for sour team or guacamole, etc. OR asking for no tomatoes or green peppers or onions, or anything. Yes, there is a space to our additional info about allergies, but really? I can only ask for source cream or guacamole, but not both? And the app didn't even tell them right, what I wanted. We walked in, and they were about to call me to specify what I actually wanted. Because they had no idea. I had to wait around for 10-15 minutes, and pay literally twice what I had ordered was listed as in the menufy app. Take out is what kept them in business during this whole pandemic -- and honestly, why we have ordered from them in the past year -- and as far as I can recall, this added charge for takeout is a new thing. It's not for delivery: I'm still going to get it, taking it home and plating it, and don't even want plastic dinnerware or anything. I even have to reheat it at home if I want it hot. I'd the food wasn't so good, I wouldn't have even given four stars due to all the trouble with ordering take out. It's a good place, I hope they get the takeout order issues...

Came to this restaurant as a first-timer and if I could put no stars for the food I would. First, the salsa they bring out with the chips tastes like tomato sauce with the slightest taste of salsa (thought this was a Mexican food joint lol). Second, I ordered a Steak Torta that says it comes with Steak and sausage and as you can see from this photo it came out with what looks to be sliced in half HOT DOGS?!?! Not only that but instead of a cheese slice they give you two cuts of either some block cheese? Tell me this makes sense. I took maybe 2 bites of the Torta (without the hotdogs) and proceeded to ask for a discount or even the meal to be taken off or exchanged for something not so unappealing to eat. The server took $5 off the tab which is still appreciated, but then for number three reasoning my girlfriends chicken fajitas looked and tasted like pre-cooked chicken breast strips out of the great value bag at Walmart. As we got to the checkout we asked for management to hopefully speak to someone a little more understanding that neither me or my girlfriend ate our food and we got told the hot dogs are sausage (which any human who has grown up eating hot dogs and Mac knows WHAT A DAMN HOT DOG IS) and that he already added a $5 discount. Moral of the story we still had to pay $60 to a restaurant that if I wanted to I could’ve gone to Walmart and made the exact same food for cheaper. Never...

I just went in and they were nice but they didn’t know how to do a split pay on the register. I had to drive to Kwik trip which was fine. When I got back they told me that they screwed up my order so asked me if I could resolve by keeping the chicken and steak instead of steak that I ordered. She made it sound like it would be cheaper but nope no discount. So I told them I would just like my order how I ordered it. No problem all good. Just got home and the tortillas I ordered are non existent. They were not terribly busy.. so I cannot find an excuse for all this trouble. $42 was my order total and I had to 1. Drive extra because they don’t know how to split pay. 2. They screwed up my order and asked me to stay at a resolve without a discount or anything extra to say “hey sorry we screwed up”. 3. Only 1 salsa for a chips for 2. 1 Extra salsa was free, but anything else was charged. (Kinda alright considering in to-go). I ordered 11 total tortillas. Got home and they completely missed the mark. No tortillas in my bag. How the hell am I to eat $42 fajitas without tortillas. They can charge an arm and a leg but when I comes to service it seems corners were...

I wasn't going to ask a Mexican restaurant to make some fries so I could try my normal food test. Instead, I had the free, freshly made chips and salsa they serve you. It delicious. They're both made fresh every day using authentic ingredients. Disregard the one-star review saying the salsa was horrible. That is just ignorant. This is how it is made in mexico! I received great friendly service the entire time. And I love the atmosphere. I had the Supreme burrito that was on special for $11.99. It was really good. I'm definitely coming back to try their specialty served on a hot lava rock! The server was nice enough to let le take a video of it, and a pic of the ceviche! They also had coronas on sale for $3.50. I highly recommend this place. I might become a regular.
