Shockingly bad. If I could rate negative stars, I would. I honestly don't know how it has 3.7 (as of the time of this review). EVERY SINGLE TIME we go to this location, something goes wrong. It's not even specific to which one of us goes, or if we go together. It's EVERY SINGLE TIME. The only reason we continued to go back, was its vicinity to our home, which we've lived in for amost 5 years. We will no longer be returning. We've hit our breaking point. It should also be noted that we are low maintenance people, and do not have complicated food orders. Our orders are BASIC.
Most Recent- Today, my husband went to pick us up lunch. The order was for 2 small fries, 4 McDoubles, and ranch dipping sauce. The person ringing it up punched in 1 small fry and 2 McChickens and finalized the order before asking if it was correct. When my husband saw this on the screen, he informed him promptly and politely. That employee told him to fix it at the drive through window. Then, when he got our food, the ranch wasn't in there (which he realized when he got home). This might seem small to be upset about, but bear with me.
Some of the other problems include: -Messing up half the order (not necessarily someone else's food, as many times, we were the only customers there). Either giving us the wrong items, or leaving them out entirely (sometimes even though we paid for them). -Poor quality food (cold, insufficient amount of fries/nuggets, overcooked or undercooked) -Never getting dip right. Not giving us any, giving us bbq instead of ranch (for example), or not giving us enough (1 dip is not enough for 20 McNuggets). -Rude/unprofessional behavior/attitudes (we hadn't complained or anything, and we were always pleasant with them, so there was no excuse). -Generally, not knowing what to do. I can't tell you how many times the employees seemed like they hadn't even gone through orientation, much less training. Our orders are always wrong though, so I couldn't say whether or not that's actually the problem.
It's so bad, in our attempt to try to make sense of the whole thing, we've wondered if it's a training location (they do seem to have an extremely high turn over rate).
Honestly, that's probably part of the reason we kept going back. Some other reasons have been that it's close to home, maybe there'll be more competent employees this time, maybe it was just (another) bad day, maybe they were just new, blah blah blah. No. At some point you have to accept the place is just bad.
It should be noted that we have never filed a complaint, so this isn't retaliation towards us, either. We would tell ourselves, "It's just McDonald's. Is it REALLY worth calling in about?". Truthfully, it may not be a lot of money each individual time, but it adds up. Also, we are generally pretty passive people. We don't LIKE to complain. It's awkward and uncomfortable, especially if it's a place you frequent. There have been times when we didn't notice our order was messed up until we got home. There have also been times when the line was long, and we didn't have the time or patience to go back through it (inside service closed due to Covid-19).
We will no longer be going to this location. We'd rather drive a few extra miles, at this point. Vicinity to our home is no longer enough.
We would love to know why it's so bad there, but honestly, it'll never be enough for us to go back.
An additional note: This isn't a McDonald's being McDonald's issue. The other location I frequent when I'm on lunch at work is fantastic. They never get the order wrong. They are always polite and professional. I will be reviewing them after this, because they deserve the...
Read moreI have never received such awful customer service. I came during a busy dinner rush (around 6pm) and someone was mopping the floor at this time. I've worked in food service for a number of years, and I would NEVER mop the floor at a busy restaurant. It's an inconvenience and it's straight up dangerous for the customers and the employees. The gentleman who ran the food to our table slipped on the wet floor, and spilled half of our order. When he returned, he did not bring us our full order. He had forgotten a burger and a burrito. I brought my receipt to the counter, and explained to the girl what had happened and what we were missing. She had the deer-in-headlights look. Not knowing what to do, she grabbed the first other employee she could find, and told him what happened. He took the receipt from her, and without saying a word to me, walked away AND THREW MY RECEIPT IN THE TRASH. The girl just stood there and stared at me. We finished eating the portion of our meal that we got, but the rest of our meal was never brought to our table. Before we left, I asked to speak to a manager to get a refund. I got my money back, but the manager didn't seem to care that one of his employees threw my receipt away with blatant disregard for his job and the customers. Like, what the actual...? It's ok to make mistakes. Hey, it's even ok to make several mistakes, but they need to be corrected. You can't just ignore people and hope they...
Read moreMy experience is that the service and quality of food has gone down tremendously. Things we used to get like salads and chicken strips are long gone since Covid. Now itâs only nuggets which I wonât eat, too many prices and parts. The menu advertised McRib, but when I ordered I was told they donât have it. Iâm guessing it was a limited time thing, but person taking my order was super rude about it. âWe ainât never had McRibs, we ainât never gonna have McRibs, peopleâs needs to stop axing us about McRibsâ was what I was told! Remove the advertisement if you donât have it on your menu maybe? My fries were salt free, likely better for me but not edible to me. No salt packet given, so thereâs that. The drink I ordered a diet, but was given a regular coke. I only drank half when I could tell. Iâm diabetic and my blood sugar started to go up right away & I felt sick. I never drink High Fructose Corn Syrup and thatâs basically all regular soda is. I was so sick the rest of the afternoon from the wrong soda until my blood sugar came crashing down. For diabetics that keep a tight control of there sugar, it makes us super sick. I wonât be back to this location, just...
