Potters is well known to be a popular spot for pastries and cakes. It was one of the first places I visited when I relocated to the area. Here are my thoughts:
The stars of the show are the bakery items. They are made fresh daily and are delicious. Get the pastries first thing in the morning when they're fresh. The case may be empty in the afternoons and that's expected.
The workers have an excellent system so even when the line is out the door, it moves quickly. Don't be afraid to stand in line at Potters!
I dream about and crave their everything bagels. All of their bagels are amazing. Five stars for the bagels 😋
The coffee is not good and I think it's a bean choice. We've tried americanos, lattes and chai and we did not like any of the drinks. I personally cannot stand the flavor of their coffee.
The sandwiches are decent and I do occasionally grab one on the run
They do a ton of work with/ for the community and I really love that.
Overall a great place to grab pastries and bagels and we...
Read moreI have had this place on my radar for a couple weeks and we finally decided to check it out this sunny Sunday we got there at around 11:30 and there was a line which makes sense for the time but it was moving and pleasant the place is clean and open and everyone working was welcoming and efficient. The smells both outside from the flowers and inside from the baking were cosy and inviting.
I had a turkey bacon melt on a croissant and my husband got a sandwich both were so good we decided to split them. We also split a lovely raspberry turnover and it was such a feel good and satisfying experience we decided to pick out some more treats to take home I’m now sat at home forcing myself to save said sweet treats for later because I just know they will be just as good!
This place is the real deal and reasonably priced I am always looking for great local places and I’m so happy I found this star. We will be back as soon as we...
Read morePotter's has the look and feel of a small town bakery. It has quite an assortment of pastry from Italian favorites like cannoli too my favorite the apple turnover. They call them hand pies. The apple turnover was fresh and apple tasty. Better than you get at most of the super market shops. They have cookies and whoppie pies. I'm sure you will find something to your liking.
The place is clean and inviting. Although I miss the old days when you walked into a bakery and the air was thick with the smell of something in the oven.
The people were friendly and attentive. And of course they serve coffee in multiple choices.
The only thing strange is the signage. I've probably passed by this place a hundred times and never knew it was there. If I had, I would have dropped in eons ago.
They should also consider a signature pastry. Something creative or rare that you can not find elsewhere....
