Putts Bar & Grill WAS a nice place to go sit and or dance, have a drink or 10. But on December 24 2013, I invited a couple of friends of mine to go there. Yes, I was warned twice, after the second and third time of violently placing a plastic, unbreakable cue ball, on a felt covered slat table, when my partner scratched. I did slam the ball down on the table when I place it were I wanted it. The bartender told me not to do it again or I would be asked to leave. I stopped doing it and thought I was behaving myself. A while later I was told to leave. I don't know why. Later I was told by some people at the bar, that the bartender was just showing off to some of his friends there. Read moreStopped in here on a random Saturday at noon. It was the only Bar Open that we saw in Downtown Rochester. We were greeted by staff before we even sat down. We were able to order our drinks and food in less than five minutes they instantly made it for us. Food was excellent. Drinks were excellent. Staff Excellent. Even the patrons were friendly and outgoing. I will be adding this on my local mom and pop bars to stop in when I drive through.
