I would like to start by saying I alway suport local business. I have always supported Jw's great pizza! Great Deals! I also always get carry out!! I have never eaten there before. So today was supposed to be the first time. We had reserved a party for 12 baseball kids & parents. When we showed up owner lady was super rude!! Tried to say we were supposed to call and confirm ( I've never heard of such a thing!!!) We had made the reservation 8 days earlier. My husband called made reservation but we had wanted to bring our photo booth so they were supposed to call us back and let us know if we could bring it. So reservations made! We sent out invites. So everyone shows up at JW's and the ower lady says they can't handle our party! she didnt have the staff. Said that things wouldn't run smooth. My husband told her it would only be about 8 pizzas. Then she said well there will be no room for our regulars! The employee who took reservation said they had party's in there all the time. Made it seem as if it was no big deal! So maybe we were not important enough since we weren't regulars!! Then she had the nerve to tell my husband that she spoke to the other ower in the back room who said he took the call and he told us to call back and confirm. We would have comfirmed the day we called figure the only reason you call is to cancel right!? I mean seriously she just came straight out and called my husband a liar. My husband was so confused by all this. He asked the lady if the other owner said anything about the booth? She said no, so my husband asked to speak with him cause he knew the person he talked to had a conversation with him about the booth. My husband then remebered the employee who took reservation said he could make the reservation but wasn't sure about the booth so he would have the owners call us about it. (which they never did but we figured we could just figure it out when we got there!) Then she had to back track cause she just call my husband a liar, said oh you must have talked to my son. We could not believe how rude and unprofessional she was. The worst treatment I have ever encountered. I couldnt believe she was treating us so poorly in front of other customers, parents and children. I guess here the customer is not alway right! If your not a regular forget it!! We ended up moving the party to a near by park! It was a hassle but I couldn't have left there faster! I am the most laid back women ever!!!! At that point I was so embarrassed and mad I could hardly think! So now we have to hurry & move the party! We thought we were going to have pitchers of pop or cold water to drink, so I had to go get drinks & make them cold quick!! it was so CRAZY!! When I was trying to tell my team were the park was located she tried some weak attempt at an apology by helping with directions to the park I have been in customer service my whole life and could not imagine treating anyone the way she treated us. Well not if I wanted to keep my job!! She did help in the end give directions to my team how to get to the park & away from her resturaunt!! I guess so her regulars could fit! We didn't know the gift card was not for delivery when we received it at Christmas was very disappointed that it didn't have it written on the gift card itself as not everyone sees the advertisement especially when it's a gift. For future reference please write it on the gift cards themselves and customer service really needs to be improved when handling these sorts of inquiries. Highly disappointed on how our questions on this was handled. We have had issues in the past in your customer service therefore we pry won't be ordering again for awhile. But FYI clarify by writing on the cards next time saves everyone the confusion. Then we give them another chance and this happens...Great pizza just wish the service was better.
