I often order online on my way to work. App says order will be ready in 10-15 minutes so I time things out pretty accurately to give time for the order to be prepared and to get to work on time. Yesterday I placed an order for 1 smoothie at approximately 3:30. I arrived in the drive through at 3:45. There was no line ant this time and no cars in the customer parking area, so I thought this would be a quick trip. Instead of being greeted in the drive though I was told to “Hold on.” I waited 4 minutes for the attendant to return to ask what I needed. I told her I had ordered online and she told me to pull around. When i pulled up to the window I could see 3 employees inside talking and laughing. After a minute an employee handed me a straw and told me my order would be up in a second. As I was trying to arrive to work on time I was more anxious about the wait than usual so I had my eye on the blenders which are visible from my car. The talking/laughing continued while no smoothie made its way to the blender. If I had not already paid for the smoothie I would have left. I’ve had similar experiences at this location in the past, so I’m not sure why I return here. I guess I’m just hopeful because of the convenience of the drive through and app and proximity to my home and work route. The past experiences involved, rather than poor customer service, no service at all, as I would order through the app in the morning and arrive to a closed store. No one had arrived to open. This happened 4 times before I gave up on the place. But, after time, i decided to try again. After 5 more minutes of waiting my smoothie was handed to me. I was 8 minutes late for work. What bothered me the most was the blatant disregard for my presence or the time stamp on the order. Had it been busy, I would have completely understood. Again, I was the only one there. I had also tipped through the app, which I always do. I don’t expect to be treated specially, just the regular amount of human to human decency. I think I really am fine with this location. Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. I went there today between 9:10am-9:16am after making an online order for 3 smoothies. I get there and only 1 of my smoothies was ready. I told myself, no problem, I'm sure they are working on the others. Wrong... the young man and young lady was just there making some sort of social media video dancing around. there was no line and only 2 customers who already had their smoothies and was just sitting there chatting amongst themselves.
I asked them if my smoothies were ready and they looked at each other baffled, I explained my online order and the young lady asked him if he got it, he asked her if she got it. As politely as possible, I said... one of you, I don't care which one, should be working on my smoothies.
The young man began making them, never apologizing for the unprofessionalism. He made it wrong, so he remade it. I waited patiently. When he finished, he put the lid on them completely ignoring the fact that a lot of the smoothie had run over and was running down the sides of the cup. Read moreWhen I am helped at this location I am greeted at the drive thru with a flat "What can I get you?" No hello or how are you. I usually come not long after opening and either wait a couple minutes to be helped or I am not acknowledged at all and I end up just leaving. One time I waited to be helped and after no acknowledgement I left and could see the one employee working sitting on the outside patio looking at her phone and smoking a cigarette. The only reason I gave this 2 stars is because when I do manage to order a smoothie it tastes great. Staff needs to learn some manners in customer service.
Edit: Decided to give it one more try. Pulled up to the drive thru at about 10:45am and an employee just said "not open yet" despite the hours listed showing they open at 10:00am.
