I’ve always enjoyed ordering from Cafe Rio, it’s a nice place in town to get something different from all the burger joints around here. What I don’t enjoy is the absolute disrespect I felt tonight from the staffing. Came in to pick up an online order and a boy working the counter purposely sat there with his back to us after watching us approach. We asked if he had an order for us in which he replied, “Check the names on the bags.” I for one don’t mind doing it but at the same time it is your job and your responsibility to ensure I’m getting what I paid for, no more no less. May I also add that the orders were out in the open, all over the counter with no form of supervision or order. The second encounter we had occurred after we had left and gone all the way home. The reason for us returning was that they had forgotten multiple components to our order, including another tortilla that we never received even after our second time there. Once again we approached the counter, this time asking for the house dressing and tortilla we had payed for. The girl working the counter this time looked at us and threw her hands in the air before walking away and saying, “I’m done with this crap.” This all being said I empathize with those working in customer service and TRY to be a good customer. In fact there was a second girl who helped us and was very patient, and I don’t commonly leave reviews. But the reality is that you’ve chosen the job and I for one as the customer am not gonna take the blame of YOUR bad day. Staffing seriously needs to get their act together...
Read moreFirst time to visit the restaurant. Approaching building the windows on outside are extremely dirty which is an indication of the maintenance level of restaurant. As I approached the counter to order, nice clean looking workers worked there but that is where it stopped, kitchen was messy with food drippings and such in areas they should not be. Food castoffs in areas should not have been..... Ordered Chicken Quesadillas and enchiladas. Chicken was taken from a pan of hot water. Rice was plain and pinto beans were good. The food was heated on a grill that had alot of black on griddle to heat up the Qeusadillas. As my helper made my enchiladas that led to over cooking the Qeusadillas and drying them out. All of this said I think it would be better to wall off the kitchen as it is not one for customers to view. Food 2/5 not good except chips...sauces were good. Restaurant needs: Clean Windows Paint and touch up areas of restaurant. If the service area is to remain visible to public. Clean it up and ensure that what the public sees is spotlessly clean. Think of different ways to keep meats hot...maybe even refrigeration with a fast cook 5 min convection oven instead of the pizza 30 second heat up oven. Does not get food hot enough. Serve food in Styrofoam containers... aluminum foil looses heat so quickly.

Read moreOrdered food about 2 weeks ago. Received our order and the whole thing was messed up. So I drove down to the store to clear it up. Lady handling to go orders was rude and snatched my receipt out my hand to fix it. When making it correctly towed it at me and said there you go. Called and there was no way to reach a manager on duty or anyone at that store directly so talked to customer service. After talking to them and explaining the situation we were sent out vouchers for free meals. We APPRECIATED that! But then tonight went in to use those and the manager there was rude and said we don’t take those here. We haven’t for 2 years. So my husband and I paid for our meals and left. Again we called to say hey this is not right. We were given 1/2 our money back for today’s order but that is not the issue. 1. If you’re going to be in customer service you BETTER treat customers better. 2. If Corporate gives out a voucher then shouldn’t it be honeyed? Yes they said we could use at another store but there is no other store for hundreds of miles from here! Will not be using the free meal voucher and will NEVER eat there again!
